Directions:

Before using the automatic pet feeder:

1. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment.

2. Switch on the main switch next to the battery compartment. The pet feeder takes now a dry run.

3. Now fill the number of bowls according to the number of mealtimes. For this purpose take off all three lids. In order to lift the top lid, grasp underneath the rim and strongly pull at it. Then you can lift the top lid with compartment as well as the cover of each single food bowl. Take care not to overfill the food bowls.

4. After the bowls have been filled, put on the lids again, corresponding to the following sequence:
- First position lid with compartment on the pet feeder, so that it is placed tightly in the notch.
- Then put the small lid of the single food bowl on uncovered food bowl. The loop has to be put over the small hook of the other lid.
- Place the last lid directly over the lid with compartment and keep it carefully pressed until it snaps in.

5. In case of using the top compartment as a water bowl, remove the upper feeder lid, so that the water will be accessible at any time.

6. If the top compartment is not used as water bowl, you can put an icepack or simply ice into this compartment in order to keep the food cool.

Operation:

1. Using the timer:
While the time is displayed, please keep the SET key pressed for at least 2 seconds, until the hour display flashes. By pressing the MODE key the exact hour can be entered. Please confirm by pressing the SET key. Now enter the minutes by the MODE key and confirm again by pressing the SET key. The hour and minute display will now flash: by pressing the MODE key you can choose between 12 hour clock and 24 hour clock. The set time will now be confirmed by pressing the SET key.

2. Adjusting of mealtime:
By pressing the MODE key the mealtime can be entered. The first number indicates the feeding and the second number indicates the time (full hour). Keep the SET key pressed for at least 2 seconds until the second number flashes. The desired mealtime can be adjusted. Please repeat until each mealtime has been adjusted (4 times maximum).
Programming possibilities:
1. 1 day with 4 different mealtimes
2. 2 days with 2 different mealtimes each at the same times of day
3. 4 days with only 1 mealtime each at the same time of day
After the setting of all 4 mealtimes the time will be displayed again.

3. Recording of voice message
For saving a personal voice message keep the REC key pressed until the end of the spoken message. You can listen to the recorded message by pressing the PLAY key.

4. Starting the feeding programme:
The feeding programme can now be started as follows: - Pressing the START NOW key means: feeding programme starts immediately
- Pressing the START TOM key means: feeding programme starts the next day at the programmed time.

After pressing one of these keys the feeding bowl will get into starting position, your saved personal voice message will be played back once and the bell as a symbol appears in the display. If all bowls are filled with food, move the small lid directly over the opened food bowl, after the automatic pet feeder has been set into starting position.
