Not tall enoughAlthough the quality of the product is excellent and good value for money, my cat hated the fact he could not stand up in it and became very distressed at having to virtually lie still when I placed him in it. He is an active cat who likes to move around. I currently have a large solid carrier which he is happy with but I wanted the convenience of one I could fold up when not in use.

My cat got out, too.My fully grown cat can easily escape from this bag when it is closed and secured. The gap where the fastener is is too large. I do still have this bag because I don't have room to store a full size plastic carrier. However, I do have to make sure I secure the opening with strong masking tape the second I get my cat in the carrier or I have to spend another five minutes catching him again.

My cat got out of it in the carThe zip on the top does not go all the way round and at one end of the bag there are gaps either side of the catch that holds it closed. Once the cat has figured out these gaps are there i pushes it with its head and then can get out quite easily. I will not buy another that is of this poor quality. Not ideal when transporting in a car when the cat gets out

My cat can escape from thisDespite securing the zip handle at the top and tying it tightly through the loop, my cat can easily escape. I discovered this whilst driving so was not best pleased. In fairness, the carrier is good value for money but not very useful if you have a lively cat.

Poor Quality itemThe 1 rating is for the idea alone. On receipt one of the metal supporting bars had already burst through the fabric, and when it was used for the first time the "detachable" shoulder strap became permanently detached when it broke after 10 minutes carrying a small cat.

Amazing ValueI bought one of these whilst they were on offer and have come back to buy two more! They are fantastic value. Everything you would want for a cat carrier, they are quite roomy too, I'm sure two of my small girl cats would curl up together in the one carrier.

Very pleasedI bought two for my two cats who do not get on. The carriers are perfect for visiting the vets. Very light, comfortable to carry and a place to keep their medical cards. They were much admired in the waiting room. Far superior to the metal cage I had before and they fold down small to keep in a cupboard

Cat loves it!My cat jumped straight in it when we took it out of the box and I found her in it again the next morning! I think she'll be much more comfortable in this than the rigid type and she can see more. I hope taking her to the vet in it doesn't put her off it!

easy to use cat transporterI have two of these, one for each cat. My cats are over 6kg each and they easily fit in the carriers. These carriers are light, easy to use and to get the cat into, with the pocket at the end being great for storing the cat's paperwork. The bags are very robust and there is no way even a frantic cat could get out as long as the top flap was properly closed. Very pleased with this purchase.

Good giant bunny carrierI purchased 2 of these for my giant bunnies. Great to store flat if you have limited space. Easy to carry to vets and back - I wouldn't use on long journeys. Despite sharp teeth and claws the nylon mesh is strong enough to prevent them breaking out. One of the carriers didn't have the metal support rods that make it rigid - so if it keeps collapsing on your pet make sure they are present. If not, some thin straight wire does the job.

Good value carriers!Just bought three of these and so far so good. They best thing is that they fold flat and can be kept handy and take seconds to open up. Easier to carry than the big plastic ones. Good access via the zip fastening at the top, although I've never tried the front opening. For the price, these are good enough for short trips to the V E T etc.
