Good, but....Although this litter is one of the best I have used, I am only giving it 4 stars. The positives are that it is organic, safe if eaten by the kittens or cats and can be flushed easily down the loo. It lasts ages too and clumps well. The negatives are the smell, it's kind of sickly sweet and it also doesn't absorb the bad smells made by our two siamese cats. Although I don't particularly have a problem with it tracking (I use a covered litter tray and have a mat there too), my daughter used it for her two cats and had real problems with tracking. It may be to do with how much the cats dig, I don't know, but when I stayed with her, I was constantly sweeping up litter even though she also had a mat outside the tray. |
Best cat litterWe have two largish Norwegian Forest kittens. This litter clumps well, absorbs odour and lasts very well. For that reason it does not work out that expensive, some of the cheaper litters will only last a few days. The extra strength is a lot better than the standard in our experience.

Cat Litter.....Brilliant StuffThis is the very best cat litter I have ever used and I have tried every one on the market I have 5 adult cats and 2 kittens each and every one one of them are rescue cats and this stuff is amazing that good that my youngest son decided he was not going to go on his potty and tried the cat box so it even soaked up a human 2 year old"s Water !! no problem great stuff and no nasty smells as well ,,,,,,,,,,

Dust everywhere around the flatI was very happy to move away from clay based litter, but after 3 months of using this product, I'm ready to try something else. The sweet smell lingers a bit too long and I'm finding dust everywhere around the flat. It breaks up into fine particles that track everywhere. Not ideal. So I'm still searching... |
excellent product good value for money tooWe have four maine coons and a 15kg bag has just lasted us over 6 weeks so excellent value for money as well as very little odour. Works best if you keep it quite deep in the litter tray. |
The cat PeopleHi, We find this litter excellent and our cats love it, they are clapping their paws and giving high fives. This was recommended by the breeder of our Maine Coon cats so we decided to give it a try. We are delighted with the result. It is very easy to clean and there is no smell if left for a lenght of time.It may be more expensive, but we think it is worth it. Go on give your cats a go and see what they say. It is certainly worth a try and we would love to see what other people think. |
Fantastic! Minimal trackingI bought this product based on other good reviews and was glad I did. CatSan is good for odour control but seemed to appear all over my flat. This one is great, just a bit of tracking outside the box and the fact that you can flush it down the toilet makes taking care of the litter box much easier.

Best Cat Litter I've Ever PurchasedThis litter lives up to each and every one of it's claims. It lasts much longer than other litters as it completely absorbs odors and clumps in strong, tight balls that do not fall apart upon removal, thus eliminating the need for frequent changing of old litter. The smell of the actual litter is pleasant (not noxiously perfumed, no chemical stench). It is soft on paws and the texture is perfectly powdery so that it does not kick out easily and does not stick to paws or bums (i.e. it stays in the box and off your floor). My older cat experienced hair loss on her tummy and the vet suggested it might be due to an allergy to our previous kitty litter. I switched to this one and the hair grew back immediately. If you go to the company's website, there is a demonstration of a man eating the litter to prove how natural and safe it is. This stuff is truly unbelievable. My cat loves it and I am thrilled by how fresh and clean my litter box always smells now. Would HIGHLY recommend to any cat owner.

World's Best Extra StrengthThe claims on the bag are vaIid. I have bought about 4x 15kg bags of this excellent product to use with 2 cats with sensitive tums. It smells sweet, and is better at absorbing smells than some other litters I've tried. This type, for multiple cats, smells less corn-like than the single cat type. I remove the faeces and urine pools with spatula, put them on a sheet of kitchen paper, and drop it all in the toilet. It would probably be more efficient to carry litter box to toilet, thereby avoiding the need for paper, which could block the loo if too much goes down at once. Also, it seems sensible to put it down at the times of your own visits to the bathroom, to save on your water bill. The litter normally flushes well, and I now put the remaining used cleared litter on the garden, where I feel it will rot down. I started by putting it in the household waste, and would recommend this to owners without gardens. It is lighter than other types I have used, and cleaner and easier to handle. Only very little is actually trodden into the floor, but a closed litter box is better, as cats which scratch up with vigour in an open type box can give you a regular job with the dustpan! The only disadvantage has been that to save money, I ordered 2 bags at once, which proved a bit heavy for our young post lady. Otherwise, I thoroughly recommend the Extra Strength, and find that being able to use less of it balances out the extra cost. I intend to use this to the exclusion of others.
