This worksThis matt stops tracking really well. On the down side, it is not very attractive but at least it is easy to keep clean.

Didn't stop trackingThe mat only trapped a small fraction of the litter my cats tracked out of the tray. It was even worse after I washed it (as per instructions) as it fluffed up and hardly stopped any litter being tracked across my floor

Thumbs upI bought the rug, so that not all grains are trafficked. You can shake out the carpet and vacuum and wash. Thumbs up!
