Wolf of Wilderness – Wild and Free!
Our dogs are an important member of the family. We love their company and they are endearing and very loyal pets. It is important that they get the right diet to keep them fit and healthy. Wolf of Wilderness dry dog food is made with top quality ingredients to provide your pet with a species appropriate diet that is packed with vital animal protein. This delicious, all-natural kibble is well accepted and suitable for dogs with nutritional sensitivities.
Wolf of Wilderness "The Taste of the Mediterranean" is based on the wild wolf's eating habits and this great-tasting dry food is similar to the wolf's natural diet. It provides your pet with a balanced, nutritious meal and is well accepted. Many believe that the domesticated dog originated from the wolf, so its diet in the wild would be mainly carnivorous. Research into wolves' natural eating habits shows that their diet consists of mostly meat or fish and some berries, wild herbs, roots and botanicals, with very few carbohydrates. In the Mediterranean region this would include mountain lambs, Adriatic trout or wild chicken. The wolf's diet has remained unchanged throughout the course of evolution and this is why the recipes are grain-free. The ingredients include lots of regional fresh meat, complemented by wild herbs, roots and berries. Peas, field beans and chickpeas are a valuable source of plant protein.

Feeding guide
Feeding recommendation:
Wolf of Wilderness dry food is a complete food for adult dogs.
It is generally fed as dry food. Fresh water should be provided at all times. Please note that the recommended food amounts are guidelines per day. The actual feeding amounts will depend on your pet's age, breed, activity levels and other circumstances. Monitor your pet's weight and adjust feeding amounts as required. Divide the recommended daily amount into two meals if possible (mornings and evenings).
My dog, a Border Collie / Berger mix loves this food and it's a great fit for her digestion. She had some digestive issues for several months. I sought out advice, I did everything I was told, I tried all the different methods...nothing was working. The day she tried out this food for the first time, everything changed for the better. She is much more lively, her stools are better, her fur is amazing. I tried 4 different flavours, two of them she didn't like and this was by far her favourite. Perfect

Will not soak
As the owner of a large breed dog that has to have the kibble soaked to avoid bloat I found that this food is resistant to soaking. I tried soaking for over 2 hours and eventually had to put the mixture in a food processor to make it edible for my hound. The quality of the food is brilliant though and my dog loved. If you need to soak your dog’s food I would suggest avoiding it .

Recommendation
My elderly lady (14) has taken really well to this food, she loves the taste, and I can recommend it alongside the other flavours from Wolf of Wilderness. Definitely recommend it for dogs with grain allergies.

They loved it
I was looking for good quality food, and something to please my two dogs, one of them is a super picky Husky, with this he starts eating as soon as I give him his portion, they have been eating this for almost a whole month, and they look amazing, great coat and their stools went through the normal adaptation period, but now are exactly as they should be. Really pleased with the quality.

Tasty
Carlo (who has allergies) and Sam both love their new food. I mixed the Taste of the Mediterranean with another dry food to ease the transition over several days - no problem whatsoever. We will be trying the two other 'Taste of...' flavours.

Just amazing!!!
It's just wonderful.
I always thought the standard Wolf of Wilderness was good but the bloating was getting worse.
No more of that with this food. Nice big chunks white are perfect for my Swiss Mountain Dog.
The smell is very tolerable and my dog seems to find it very tasty.
We have definitely found our new favourite food.
Great value for money!
Will be rotating through the 3 new flavours.

Big pieces...nice smell
We instantly liked the shape and size of the pieces and the smell. Finally something for our dog to chew on. Not something you find with every food. Unfortunately he doesn't digest it that well so it wasn't meant to be for our Buster.

Very good like all the Wolf of Wilderness products
After some skeptical sniffing from our dog she took to the new food. I was a little surprised at the size of the pieces (maybe not the best fit for a Chihuahua) but our Dachshund / Chihuahua mix (7.7kg) managed to chew them really well. It's very good for her to properly chew her food and not just swallow it whole.
I would definitely recommend the Taste of the Mediterranean from Wolf of Wilderness.

wie 5 Sterne Urlaub :-)
I have to be honest, the ingredient list was very eye-catching. Meat (to be expected) with elderberries, rosemary and olives really piqued my interest and our Labrador loved the taste. I would too :-) Makes my dog very happy and the stools are ideal. Will be buying again and can only recommend it!
