Ingredients: Chicken, Veal, Chicken Liver: Meat and animal by-products (70 % muscle meat and offal, including 4% named meat) Atlantic Salmon: : Meat and animal by-products (t0 % muscle meat and offal), fish and fish by-products (8%, including 4% Atlantic salmon) All flavours: Stock, vegetable by-products (1.5%, incl. 0.4% inulin in chicken variant), minerals (1%), oils & fats (0.5%).
Feeding Recommendation:
My Star Mousse is a complete food for adult cats. Feed your cat one tray per meal. A fully grown cat (approx. 4kg) needs approx. 3 meals per day. Please note that these are only guidelines. Actual feeding amounts depend on your cat’s breed, age, activity levels and other individual circumstances. Serve at room temperature. Please make sure that your pet always has plenty of fresh drinking water available. Store in a cool, dry place, away from the sunlight.

Cats Dont like these
Thought I would try these as they were on offer at around 45p each and cats normally like mousse type soft food. However, both my cats turned their noses up at these, so turning out to be an expensive trial!

Considering Prof Freddie is a picky eater ...He likes these , clears the bowl & is vocal when it's time for his treat..
As his Hooman I'll buy small trial packs to offer options & choice to his meal times. 🐾

Disappointing
My mini-panther's main foods contain no animal by-products but I sometimes by a small amount of cheaper foods to keep monthly cost down. I thought Id try Mystar as although it has by-products it is sugar and grain free. He has enjoyed mousse forms in the past but he didnt eat this as enthusiastically. It has a very sticky texture, and a stronger unpleasant smell compared to his main foods- Feringa and Carny. A lot of marketing effort for the packaging etc but the feed itself isnt so cool!

surprised me
i have some very fussy cats and some old ones so i try to find pate food at good prices for them and i saw this and thought i would try it and i was surprised when one of my old fussy ones wolfed it down she never eats pate i have tried her on all sorts of them but to no avail but this she couldnt get enough of it and its good a good texture to it and smell ok pity its out of stock i only bought 1 box just in case they didnt like it pity i didnt get more she loved it and so did a few others

Not enough taurine
My Maine Coon cats like this food. However, it doesn't contain enough taurine and it's expensive for what you get. For this price I didn't expect to get vegetable by products...

Upped the ratings!
I reviewed this previously as my cats weren't that keen but I've come to realise it's certain flavours only. The definite faves are Salmon, Turkey and Chicken, the rest they don't particularly like but these 3 they really enjoy.

Overpriced for what it is, plus my cat didn't like it that much
I didn't read properly when I bought the pack and thought that the food had high meat content (it said up to 70%). When I received the pack and checked the ingredient, it contains "meat and animal by-products (70 % muscle meat and offal, including 4% named meat)". For the price I paid, I expected no animal/vegetable by-product!
Plus, this is a smooth pate type cat food and sadly my cat wasn't too keen on the texture.

The ingredients looked good but number 1 and 2 turned their noses up and number 3 ate half and had the squits afterwards.

The Marmite of cat food!
So cats seem to either love or hate this.
Unfortunately 3 of my 4 hated it and 1 tolerated it but took him all day to eat it (and a little Thrive topper to help it down!)
The ingredients are OK but not great so it's not a food I would even want to try to get them on. Sorry but it's a big no from my boys!

Happy cat
My poor old cat has trouble chewing food. His head was bitten by a dog before I rescued him. It affected his chewing muscles and as he has got older he has had more trouble. I tried various cat foods but this one has helped and he is putting on weight again. I give it to him in the container and he licks it out. I tried turning it out but he gobbled it so fast he made himself sick.
I am so relieved to find this food, at an affordable price too!

My cat dont touch it
My cat dont like it. Full bowl left for hours. Even if she didnt get nothing else.
So needed to get back to royal canin and cosma.

Great for faddy old ladies
Tiddler is venerable. She does not believe she is old. Her teeth and her kidneys disagree and soft pate suits her eating style now. This mixed pack was easy to eat and palatable to a fussy 21 year old girl. As she is hard to please this food gets full marks.

Wouldn't touch it
None of my three cats would touch this product. The ingredients listed look fine, but I think they found the texture too cloying.

Spot on
My cats can become quite fussy with time, but they had this food for about 2 months now and always eat it to the clean plate. It doesn't happen with any other wet food, even the most expensive and good one. This one is enjoyed by my both cats, any flavour.

Mixed experiences, but generally great
We have three cats, and the only one who won't eat this is weirdly the least picky of the lot, but she does have a tendency to steer away from mousse type food. My most picky girl LOVES this...she's not picky with flavours, but doesn't like having to chew too much and this seems to work out great for her. Our little boy sometimes eats it, sometimes doesn't. It's never left on the plate, it always gets eaten by one of them!

Not for mine
I always know when I open the lid of a new food whether mine will eat it. The smell of offal always disgusts them I'm afraid, however good it's meant to be for them. No good if they back away from the plate
