Product description

Natural, grain-free premium complete cat food. With fresh ingredients and a high meat content, enriched with vegetables, herbs and essential taurine. Available as a saver pack at a great price!

The same great recipes in a new design! Feringa Pure Meat is changing its design but keeping its tried and tested recipes. During the transition period, your order may include products in both the old and new packaging designs.

Feringa Pure Meat Menu at a glance:

  • High meat content, at least 95% fresh meat or fish: each variety of Feringa Meat Menu is made with meat or fish of human grade quality
  • Single source of protein: Each Feringa variety only ever contains one source of meat so it is suitable for cats with food sensitivities.
  • Grain-free – gluten-free: to ease stress on the digestive system, as a cats' digestive system is not designed to process large amounts of grain. This means that these grain-free recipes form the basis for a species-appropriate and healthy diet for your cat.
  • Gentle processing: all ingredients are cold-filled and then gently cooked to retain as many nutrients as possible
  • Recipe only uses named ingredients: prepared using only the ingredients shown in the recipe
  • High quality ingredients: Feringa does not believe in using meat and bone meal, low-grade vegetable by-products, slaughterhouse waste, artificial colourings, preservatives or flavour enhancers
  • With taurine: important for healthy eyesight and heart function
  • Optimum calcium - phosphorus ratio: calcium-phosphorus ratio of the Pure Meat Menu ranges from 1.24 to 1.33
  • With spirulina: rich in important minerals and essential amino acids
  • Important dietary fibre: contains fresh, easy to digest vegetables as well as delicious herbs to ensure that your cat gets enough fibre and has a healthy digestive system
  • Soya-free – lactose-free: naturally free from soya and lactose, which makes it highly suited to sensitive cats. The Beef with Cottage Cheese & Valerian variety is free from soya and contains just small traces of lactose.
  • Made by a small family business: Feringa wet cat food is made with love and care by a small family business in Southern Germany, where creating natural and species appropriate nutrition is at the heart of the business

FANTASTIC
This cat food is so good and 95% meat. One of my cats has a kidney problem and this food is helping him. He is also on raw too. It's a bit of a worry when people think Royal Canin and Hills are good - please do read the ingredients.

Fussy cat gives a thumbs down
Absolutely gutted that my cat didn't like this, after reading all the reviews I thought maybe this food might be a game changer. Unfortunately he just has a nibble here and there every time I try to feed him it. It's a shame really because it smells and looks pretty decent! I bought quite a large pack too, which is my own fault really, seems I got a bit too excited with this one. The hunt for food continues...

Both cats won’t touch it!!!
Neither of my cats are picky - but they simply turned their noses up at this good. Just turned around and left! Disappointing as I bought £40 quids worth in one go to avoid shipping charges

PERFECT CAT FOOD
I have searched high and low for a healthy, high quality cat food that my Siamese girl will eat apart from Cosma and Applaws (because they are not a complete food). She loves the pure meat chicken and the rabbit and her coat is shiny and healthy. She purrs her head off when she has finished a meal. My British Shorthair loves them too and I have noticed a lot less bad litter smells since they have been eating this food. High meat content and enjoyable for my cats - excellent!

Gone in seconds
I've got 4 cats that I've been feeding this ever since they were little. All of them love it, but I would like there to be a bit more sauce as it can be a little compact. I would say it's more of a chunky pate than wet food All in all, I would personally like it to have a softer texture but seeing as I'm not about to eat it and my cats seem to love it I am still super satisfied. I alternate between Pure Meat (70% meat) and Classic because Pure Meat is a bit expensive with 4 cats but they eat every last piece. Great recipes and ingredients.

Superb
I love Feringa, the smell is fine even for humans. And the cats love it. Great recipe, really easy to digest.

Disappointing had quite a lot of bone
When you buy a “human grade” high quality food, the last thing you expect is to find shards of bone, not small shards either. This food has not been the most popular wet food for my cats either. But with persistence they have been finishing it. Now I’ve seen bone peices in it I’m wondering if it’s not as high quality as stated.

Quality meat
My sphynx loves these, i find some flavours have a better cinsistancy than others (not that he cares). I think lamb & rabbit, duck & viel and rabbit & turkey are best.

Very stinky and Bella hates it!
Unfortunately, although I was sold at the 90% meat content, Bella was not. Dry consistency Very stinky (the whole house stinks when you walk in) Even when mixed with favourites, remains untouched

chicken and squash
Like the ingredients, I've been looking for a cat food like this for a long time! Very impressed reading through the recipe details. But more importantly my Bengals love it. I mostly feed raw but now can feed a really good wet food in addition. Only tried chicken so far but will be offering the variety pack

Shame about potatoes
This cat food is of great quality.my cat likes it a lot,i mainly buy rabbit and beef for her. It is a shame that in some varieties some potatoe has been included in the ingredients. I buy the ones that do not contain any potoato such as beef, rabbit. Pricewise it is a little costly, however the quality of this product is well above average!!! Will buy again!

Fussy cat loves it
My cat is fussy and toothless. She never eats anything for long but absolutely loves this. It's soft but heavy which is great because she hates pâtés but can't eat hard food. Its high meat content is brilliant and she seems much healthier for it. Seems expensive but one tin goes A LOT further than most of the other foods shes tried so its cheaper in the long run. It does look the same as the carny brand to me but I get both and she can somehow tell the difference so when she gets bored of one after a week I switch to the other and then back. First time in years Iv found something she will eat with relish

Mixed reviews
I bought a trial pack for my fussy ragdoll and it didn't go down well. She won't eat Carny or Grau and it looks much the same. A sniff and a taste and she walked away so I gave the remaining cans to my mum for her moggy boys. The dishes were clean within seconds. You win some you lose some.

What a relief!
I've struggled for nearly 10 years on and off trying to find food that doesn't make one of my cats very ill. He's had blood tests , been on every special diet possible but nothing seems to work for very long. I decided to try feringa after he'd spent a week in the cattery whilst I was away refusing his food and having a poorly tummy and so glad I did! So far he loves it and its not having any adverse affects and he's not always yowling for food! He's generally a much happier boy!

Like the list of ingredients very much
Smells good and is great for both free feeding and can also be easily blended for sick kitties. Would like to know the actual phos content on a dry matter basis for my CKD cat so I know how much binder to add but great food, as close to perfect as I have found!

Very expensive would like to see it offered cheaper
Pretty good quality cat food and well balanced just a shame that its so expensive and can only be used occasionally. Can only comment on the rabbit and chicken varieties which all 3 cats have enjoyed.
