Product description

Tasty wet food for growing dogs, this protein-rich wet food contains at least 66% meat & is 100% grain-free. It provides your young puppy dog with all the vital nutrients it needs.

Wolf of Wilderness Junior wet dog food is based on the wolf’s natural eating habits and will appeal to your young dog's natural instincts. We all love our dogs and consider them an important member of the family. They are endearing, very loyal pets and they deserve the right diet to keep them fit and healthy. Many believe that the domesticated dog originates from the wolf. Research into the wolves' natural eating habits shows that their diet consists of mostly meat from prey and some berries, wild herbs and roots (often eaten as part of the prey’s stomach contents). This diet has remained unchanged throughout the course of evolution. Wolf of Wilderness Junior wet puppy food is completely grain-free and low in carbohydrates since wolves in the wild rarely eat them.

The wholesome wet food is similar to the wolf's natural diet. It is well accepted, easy to digest and provides your growing pet with a balanced nutrient uptake. Wolf of Wilderness Junior wet dog food contains at least 66% pure meat and top quality offal. This provides your pet with easy to digest proteins, fat and vitamins. The fruits of the forest mixed berries, wild herbs such as ribwort, nettle and common yarrow provide important minerals as well as secondary plant matter. The premium quality ingredients provide your trusty pet with a tasty, natural meal and you can be sure that you are feeding your dog with a species appropriate diet.

Changed the recipe - not good
My dog has been eating this brand and this particular food for the last 12 months. However, they have changed the recipe a few months ago and she no longer eats it. Dogs know... Had to throw away 48 tins and then decide to move her to the RAW. Best decision ever, at least she eats now and I know exactly what is in her meal.

The fish one smells vile
Have used Wolf wet food for years and always been enjoyed by my dogs. Recently bought the fish variety and it smells vile and only one dog will eat it - has to be fed outside because of the strong unpleasant odour - other varieties are fine

Good for huskies, and cats like it too
My Siberian husky is very picky about what she eats, and gone off each type of local commercial food very quickly. She likes her Little Wolf of Wilderness, and we usually rotate flavours and add other things to it to keep it exciting. Her fur is shiny and healthy like a movie star's, and she is full of energy. The added bonus is that our cats like this food too - cats tins and pouches tend to be very small and fiddly, and having this as a healthy backup for them is a time saver. The only flavour of this brand that all my animals refused to eat at all was Arctic Spirit, tinned food with reindeer hearts - it had a strong odour, and it ended up in th bin.

Best dog food around.
Usually if something smells good, it tastes good. This dog food smells amazing, i've bought both the duck and the salmon versions and they actually look and smell good enough for me to eat (not going to though) The contents are exactly what it says on the tin and is filled with no room to spare, you can see whats what and compared to most food it looks very appetising. Although slightly pricer working out at around £1.50 per tin, my dog seems to love these and therefor are well worth the price
