What has happened to this tinned food? It used to be firm and meaty and well worth the money but unfortunately i purchased 72 cans because this is the only food my dog will eat and every one of the cans were at least one quarter to a third filled with jelly and hardly any hearts on weighing the meat there is less than 300g even though the can states 400g. so very disappointed as iv been buying this for 7 years

Where's the hearts? quality gone down 👇
Used to be great food but last batch,no hearts at all first 4 tins.
Is it the bird flu situation?
Regardless of that, meat quality is lots of jelly now too, won't be buying this anymore !! Such a shame.

Full of jelly
Rocco used to be good but this will be the last time I buy it. Hardly any meat in it and its full of jelly. Never used to be like that. Rocco are obviously trying to save costs while charging a higher amount for it and its just not worth it anymore.

The best!!!
My two dogs go nuts for this meat.
You can see the whole hearts in it.
Rich food so I don't give as much with their dried food.
Your getting quality meat !!

Excellent value
I brought the mixed tins to try and get our Ill dog to eat something. She loved this from the moment I put it down for her. When our ex rescue puppy was over a year I put her onto this an is thriving. She always licks the bowl clean. Happy dogs, happy owners.

Rocco Hearts
My 3 labradoodles absolutely love this tinned dog food - they are very fussy eaters and we were given some to try by a friend and we now have clean bowls every time.

Message from the dog ....
When I was a puppy I was ever so fussy ... refused everything going other than raw meat. I was very poorly with diarrhoea and dehydration and the vet said I should change my diet because the risk of salmonella was just as relevant as it is in humans. Salmonella wasn't proven but my owners said no more raw food. Dry, wet, this, that ....no thanks. Then I tasted this!! Wow ... I even have to guard it from my cat friends. It literally took weeks to find but perfect. I am no longer hungry. Yum yum.

Good solid food
My elderly terrier/poodle mix just loves this food. there are a lot of hearts in each tin and it's nice to be able to recognise what is in the tin. All the Rocco food I have bought has been really solid without watery jelly or gravy using up the weight. I thoroughly recommend it

Freddie loves it!!
I've been trying to find a decent wet food for my almost 11year old lab, something that ISN'T full of cereals,so called chunks of 'meat' that is actually soya and full of gravy or jelly. I came across Rocco hearts and thought I'd give it a whirl. I'm so glad I did! Full to the brill with actual meat and chock full of hearts, yes it does have some jelly,I found the chicken variety has more than the beef, but in all honesty, there isn't a great deal, thumbs up to Zooplus!

At last ...
A food that my Tibetan Terrier will Woolf down. I've tried every type of kibble and even raw feeding but after a few days she would turn her nose up and not eat her food without some added goodies. With the Rocco range she cleans the bowl, or if there is a scrap left, the cat will clean it off for her!!!!

Very tasty, lots of hearts, but the chicken variety has lots of jelly
Our Beagle thinks this stuff is delicious (she loves all Rocco food!). We had lots of hearts in each can! I think it's good that with this range the meats are separate, so you can buy cans that don't contain beef. Plus there's no added carbohydrate sources like with the Sensible cans.
We thought it was a bit of shame though that on top of the chicken can we opened was a layer about 1.5cm thick of jelly. For us an 800g can lasts 4 days, so we had to really mush up the food to make sure the first day wasn't a full meal of just jelly.

Only 2 hearts per can
I was a bit disappointed when I opened one can and it was just processed meat inside with only 2 actual hearts. I expected more from a premium food. If all the cans are this bad I wouldn't recommend buying it - the Rinti Poultry Hearts food from zooplus has far more hearts in every can.
