Perfect for Hedgehogs too
I have been buying this to feed the wild hedgehogs in my garden. They like a high meat content chicken or turkey cat biscuit. They love munching on this food..more so than commercial hedgehog food you can buy. I was giving them my cats biscuits which are a very expensive brand....so this is saving me money plys keeps my cats fave biccy just for them. Lerfect.

Best food for ferrets
I've been feeding this to my ferrets for 2 years now. It's great value, when bought in the 10kg pack it works out as the same price as a lot of cheap "ferret food" brands but Porta 21 is MUCH higher quality! This lasts so long as I only need to feed them half as much compared to other foods I've fed them in the past. This food isn't packed full of fillers so it's easier for your ferrets to absorb the nutrients, meaning they eat less and poop less. I highly recommend this product!

Caused one of my cats to projectile vomit most days
I have 5 cats, two of which are Siamese. One of the Siamese was projectile vomiting this food back up before it had even digested. I didn’t think this food was to blame initially because it sounds like it is so good for them when you read the ingredients. I even took the cat to the vet and told him it couldn’t be the food because it’s grain free etc. After a while the vet concluded the vomiting was a stress reaction. Eventually I decided to change cat food, the cat hasn’t been sick since!!!

No problems. Just what I was looking for.
I decided to upgrade my two cats' dry food. One cat has historically been picky, and I was wary of upsetting my new rescue cat's stomach. The IAMS food they were happily eating wasn't very nutritious, but my budget was limited. I thought I'd investigate whether I could get better food for the same price I was paying in-store. This product is much better quality (grain free, meat %, protein) than I hoped to find for my budget. The 10kg bag is great value. My Cats love it and I've had no problems.

Turned up noses
I have 6 cats, 2 are senior and 1 of them is on a special diet. So, I have 4 ordinary adult cats not one of which would eat this nor would my senior who I occasionally give a bowl of the stuff that the others are eating rather than her senior food. I was very surprised as they are all rescues who normally devour everything given to them.

Low carb and tasty, complete dry food
I wanted low carb food as one of my cats was showing a few signs of pre diabetes. His main diet is cooked chicken thighs (bones removed and boiled to make the gravy). Both cats really like this dry food, and I feel confident they are getting all their nutrients whilst avoiding too many carbs. I have tried Applaws and they don't like it as much and it costs way more.

The go to biscuits for my fussy cats
Unlike every other brand it tried my cats run for this one. I also noticed that their coats are better and I can give this to them with a good conscience knowing they are getting the best

Amazing food for ferrets
I feed my ferrets this as most food made specifically for ferrets is nowhere near as good as a high quality cat food. This is one of the best foods to feed your ferret, and is also one of the cheapest! Mine transitioned over to it within a week and now all 3 of them are eating it. Their stools are improving and they seem to be consuming less food. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality ferret/cat food at a reasonable price.

Does the job
Bought as an alternative to Nutrivet which my cats love.
Smells good out of the bag, and cats ate eagerly unlike with some cheap brands I shall not name. Price is excellent for a grain free product. Shall buy again.

All my cats love it
I have 3 house cats and a feral stable cat, all will eat Porta 21 Sensible with no issues at all. A cat I had previously who had stomach problems, was moved onto this food as it's grain free, along with the Porta 21 chicken sensitive meat, her digestions problems disappeared. It's good value for money and the ingredient list reads better than some.

Fantastic value
My cat has colitis & ever since I feed her this product her condition is amazing. no upset stomach, no weight loss, she has s glossy coat & full off energy. Fantasic value for money works out cheaper in the long run to buy a large sack & is probably cheaper than lower quality cat foods. Also it's saving me a lot off money in vet fees.

Sick Cats....
My two cats have been on this for a couple of years now. Unfortunately both of them seem to have developed an intolerance to an ingredient in it - just one mouthful is enough to make one of them projectile vomit minutes later and the other produces bloody, liquid stools. Just a few days after changing their food and they had normal tummies. I tested my theory by giving them Porta 21 again yesterday and hey presto, we had two very ill cats on our hands!

not fussed
I have 5 cats, a ragoll, a birman, Maine coon and 2 moggys. I usually buy Arden grange as my boys have a sensitive tummy due to grain. I've had this for 4 weeks, it's always down ready so they graze through the day. They're not really fussed on it atall. I've tried for 4 weeks to see if theyl come round, they do have a nibble but they don't eat much like the Arden grange so I'm going through more wet food. Maybe okay for some but mine really ain't fussed so I'm trying the sensitive royal canin instead which is a shame as I got a huge bag left.

Not for my cats
Sadly this food gave my cats very bad poos and one of them gunky eyes. This cat can eat anything, so was very surprised. Have one cat with bad digestive system and she suffered a lot and still isn't back to her usual self. She was bored of Arden G.sensitive, so got this as an alternative. She is now on AG kitten to provide variety. Shame, it sounded very good. I wouldn't recommend it as all my cats have suffered from this dry food.

My cat loves this!
I wanted to put my cat on a grain free diet, so switched his meat and dry to something more suitable.
He was always more interested in the wet food and would occasionally graze on the dry food. Well now he demolishes his dry food!
He absolutely loved this and he looks strong and healthy. Being a small skinny cat it has always been hard to get him to fill out but this has worked wonders.
His coat is thick and shiny too!

Low fat version please!
My cats love this food, however my overweight Tom cat could really use a light (low fat) version.
Love the price and love the taste - always gets gobbled up straight away.
