More like a cattle grid for cats

The tray isn’t “soft touch” at all - it’s smooth, rounded, hard plastic that my cats jump over. A waste of space.

Cattle Grid

The title says “soft touch” but the white tray is solid and rounded plastic. It’s like a cattle grid to my cats who jump over it when they come out of the hooded litter trays. I wish I’d only bought the one to see what it was like but the good reviews persuaded me.

Very nice product but not for my himalayan

Very good quality and easy to maintain, though I would not say it is 'soft touch'. It's smooth, hard plastic. It caught the pellets that landed in the vicinity - but this was only a few flying pellets because I'm afraid my himalayan made leap after leap over the entire thing. She would not walk on it. We gave it a good go, but no joy. Still, very good if your cat is not so fussy.

Cat litter all around

We have 2 cats using a corner box, whilst this catches some litter, there is plenty scattered around it EVERY day. We have short haired cats (Devon Rex's) and the box has a door flap (so they're walking it out, not kicking it). They literally come out take one step, a bit is caught, then the rest is on the bathroom floor.

Works well with clumping and non clumping litters and tracks much less than with my previous mat. I wish I had found it years ago!

Litter Box Rug does catch litter, not all of it but a decent amount when the kittens come out of their litter box. I am using it with the Booda peral litter box (which I wouldn't recommend).

Brilliant Mat

Recently changed to clamping litter and and most of the litter that gets out, gets caught in this mat. We have covered litter tray. Cat was weary at first but I sprayed the mat with catnip and off she went.

easy to use

my maine coon cats don't mind walking on this mat. Works ok with woodpellets and clay so far.

Really effective design

I bought 3 of these to replace existing litter mats. These pick up about 95% of litter from the cats paws at they come out so no more daily vacuuming, just a quick dustpan and brush. Initially one cat managed to avoid stepping on it - treated it a bit like a cattle grid, but after a couple of weeks she got used to it. It is very smooth on the paws. They look very smart too. Delighted with purchase.

Brilliant, eliminated tracking!

I cannot rave about this track mat enough, my favourite cat little track a lot, was finding it all over the house and having to vacuum every day, but this mat has completely eliminated it! No cat litter on the floor, no even directly around the litter tray, and the stuff that collects on the mat can me poured straight back into the tray. I've recommended it to several people.

I have tried countless cat litter mats to stop silica litter getting knocked around my wooden floors and not had much joy. I then purchased this item and can honestly say I am so chuffed with it I would never buy anything else again. It catches everything! Plus so easy to clean. Top product

Highly recommended

A brilliant item that really works. Tracking has always been a problem with cat litter and this tray(because that is what it is rather than a mat) has made a huge difference. It is however quite large and could prove a trip hazard if space outside the litter box is limited.

Excellent

This is fabulous, it catches about 95% of the litter. Previously I used a mat and I was finding litter all over the house, this definitely doesn't eliminate the problem but it makes such a massive difference I'm just about to purchase a second one for the litter tray downstairs

Supurrb

The mat is excellently designed. It's trapped a handful of litter in the first couple of days it's been in use and very little has ended up on the carpet. My cat willingly walks over the mat without trying to avoid it; she even lies down on it from time to time.<br><br>The plastic grid, whose slats have a smooth rounded shape on the top making them very gentle on the paw, lifts out easily so the bottom tray can be emptied. I find it's mostly dry, clean litter granules that end up in there, so I just throw them back into the litter box.<br><br>Total success; very happy with the purrchase.

As a breeder of Burmese cats I now have five of these mats. I have to say I find them absolutely brilliant it is lovely to walk into my cat room in the morning. And see such a small amount of litter on the floor. As once the floor would just be a sea of litter would definitely recommend. I have them in my cat houses my cat conservatory room and in doors of course.

As a breeder I find the trend that cats bring out of the litter trays. It's the biggest bugbear can give so much clearing up. Particularly when one has kittens. I ordered one of these TRACK MATES and very quickly ordered another two. I am actually finding them quite brilliant. The only thing is including my cat houses. I could really do with another three. All will come in time!! I just don't know why no one thought of this idea years ago.

Brilliant!

I am so happy with this! I've tried a few different mats and am using a litter which tracks quite heavily. I used to find litter outside the box and also tracked all over the flat. Now I find several pieces of litter inside the plastic tray each morning and maybe one or two strays near the litter box. It is amazing - I highly recommend it! :-)

Magic Mat

I've wasted so much money buying various mats to stop litter tracking everywhere. Saw this a couple of months back on special offer so thought I'd try it. Don't know how it does it so well where other mats fail but there's virtually no litter tracking with this. I have four cats, one being a huge Maine Coon and they all still come tearing out of the box but leave the litter in the mat. Seems a very simple design but works brilliantly.

Catches a Lot of Litter

I bought this last year and can highly recommend. It catches a lot of the litter as it drops through the grid into the tray. There is still some litter on the floor but nowhere near as much as without this mat.
