The Savic Nestor Cat Litter Box base tray has high sides that prevent leaks. The high back wall makes this litter box ideal for cat’s that like to tinkle standing up.
The two-tone cover has an integrated handle and attaches to the matching base tray with clips. The swing door and hood can be flipped up to offer easy access for cleaning. The carbon filter is fitted into the hood and helps to prevent any nasty smells getting out. The filter should be changed at regular intervals.
The Savic Nestor Cat Litter Box is the perfect way to help anxious cats or kittens to get used to using a covered litter box instead of a tray. You can simply leave the hood open at the start until your cat is used to the covered litter box. The base tray can also be used without the cover.

Tip: The catches on the flip up cover can be a little stiff. If this is the case, zooplus recommends pushing the catches slightly inwards to make it simpler and quicker to open and close the cover.

I purchased this for my kitten, I've only had this since Christmas it has a crack across the bottom ,I would not recommend this item, as it's for all cats and mine is only 14 weeks old now ,so he is very light and the box doesn't get move just cleaned with soapy water tepid water 😔

I love that you don't have to take the whole lid off to scoop, I love that the door does fit and the sides clip down well and mostly I live that it doesn't have indentations for feet where the wee collects in clumping litter which makes it much harder to get out. Good price great product!

Flap does not close properly
Just as another reviewer mentioned, the door does not close properly and therefore the smell escapes just as it would without the hood. Very disappointed with the product. Waste of carbon filter on top of the hood.

Purrrfect
My kitten scoops out his litter everywhere in the tray I initially got for him. So I thought this one would be better for him as its hooded. Had to remove the flap as he just sat inside until I lifted it back up. But this is definitely a good litter tray for him. Quite sterdy clip the top onto the bottom using the two clips on either side.

Savic Nestor litter box
Had this litter box for just over a year now and very disappointed it has somehow gained a hole in the bottom of it. Also the door never hung properly so it has never actually 'closed' to keep the smells in. Bit gutted I bought it but now I need to buy a new one I won't be buying the same.

Can't fault it but...
It's not obvious but the door does fit and shut ok if you hang it the other way around.
Only thing is I think I'll need a bigger box for my two big cats. Time will tell? I thought it was the same size as my previous box but obviously I didn't check the measurements correctly.

Can’t believe we have 6 😁
The first order of the litter tray n liners was for 2 hooded trays, the lids came broken due to delivery driver so Zooplus replaced them, they are fabulous and ended up with 2spare trays.. Replaced them after 2years with another 2.. We now have 5cats n due to move to a new house. So have just ordered 5more ready for a fresh tray for them all around the new house and outhouse and catio 😁 We took the doors off as our cats don’t like them.

Door fits perfect if you put it on the right way!!
Great litter box. Perfect for my kitten without using the door. Now she's used it for a a few days I've put the door on. As previous comments sate the door doesn't fit well with a big gap, this is not true! If you put the door on correctly it fits perfect, does look like you're putting it on back to front but your not! Very happy with product & very good price.

It would be great if it weren't faulty
It seems faulty. The flap should play the role of a door, however it hangs inside in the box and there is about 15cm open gap that makes the flap look not compatible.
My cat is using it, she is ok with it. But in my eyes doesn't look right.

Door does not fit - smelly!
I wish I'd read the previous reviews more thoroughly - the door does not fit and leaves a gap which means that I am very aware when 'new deposits' have been made - stinky!
Other than that, I didn't have issues fitting it together, as other reviews have mentioned. It seems sturdy enough for the price and it is roomy.

Great for price
Real good value for money, my cat is big and he fits in fine.
Wasn’t expecting it to be much with how cheap it was.
But overall really happy with product and quick delivery.

Cheap but not cheerful
Good size but that's all that's good. Very difficult to clip top to bottom. Really struggled with that. Door useless and hangs nowhere near in the closed position. Generally rubbish

Disappointing
I suppose you get what you pay for. The box is a good size but the different sections don’t fit together well and the door does not swing back into place. It sits slightly back and catches if you try to bring it forwards. There is also no handle for when you need to move it to clean.Ok for a first covered litter tray (my foster cat kicks her litter EVERYWHERE from her uncovered tray) but a disappointing buy.

Badly designed
What isn't clear from the image is the two inch or more gap between where the flap entry door hangs and the front of the litter box. This renders a carbon smell filter completely redundant! Waste of money, an open litter tray would have been much cheaper and less hassle.

Not very robust
Have had this about 6 months and the tray has just cracked on the base near one of the corners where there is a plastic foot. Up until now I’ve had no concerns and it had been used happily by two kittens, who also have the use of another tray, so don’t feel it has had excessive use. As other users state the door is useless and so was removed straight away.. Now buying something more robust to replace it.

Good design for an elderly cat
Unlike some reviews, I find the door sits perfectly - unless you hang it on the wrong way round of course, then there is a gap. I paticularly like the fact it is low at the front and no big 'lip' inside which meant my elderly cat managed to miss the inside of his old tray several times. I agree the side catches are flimsy but they do a job - and the lid stays on even without the catches to be honest. I even got a spare door in my box! And two filters. Good value and quickly despatched.

Perfect for my 3 boys
This is perfect for my boys. All are diggers, and previous trays I had to remove the doors as one kept digging at it and knocking it off. This one is perfect, the door doesn't come off. Good size for 3 with daily litter picking and a weekly thorough clean. Very good Odour control.

Good for its price...
Its a cheap large catlitter box. We have three and took the doors off as noted by other people it does nothing. The base is good and deep to catch most of the litter on their paws. The top is ok but two items to point out as others have highlighted. The hinges are garbage and break easy and the handle on the top isnt strong, especially with those hinges so i carry them holding the bottom. Otherwise we have had these boxes for over four years now and they work perfectly fine.
