Product description

Golden Grey Master is a very fine, Canadian clumping cat litter with silicate and scented babypowder for effective odour neutralisation, extra soft on little paws

Golden Grey Master kitty litter made from fine bentonite is very popular among cat owners.
Benefits of Golden Grey Master Cat Litter at a glance:
  • Bentonite (granules size 0.5 - max 12mm)
  • With silicate - for even better odour control
  • With baby powder scent
  • Clumping litter
  • 350% absorption
  • Low in dust

The clay used for Golden Grey Master cat litter is a purely natural product, so it is entirely harmless for your cat. Its superior power (approx. 350% absorbency) eradicates unpleasant smells while the litter gives out a gentle baby powder scent.
The litter is low in dust production and consists of extra-clumping granules that won't stick to your kitty's feet and get spread around the house.

Golden Grey Master is enriched with silicate which ensures even better odour control. It is ideal for male cats and multi-cat households.

There is no need to empty the whole tray to clean, you'll only have to pick out the clumps, so Golden Grey is more economical and easier to use than conventional clay. 14 kg Golden Grey are the equivalent of approx. 42.2 kg conventional litter!

Excellent Product
I bought this when my usual cat litter had been changed and was absolute rubbish. I had been using it for years so was anxious to find a clumping litter as good. I have found this to be superior to what I had been using previously. It clumps really well and I have not experienced any odour after my cat has used the litter tray. Will continue using this superior product.

My regular cat litter
I have found this very good, I have tried both varieties and prefer the baby powder version. I see that some users have said that when their cat buries its “treasure” it still smells. I haven’t had that experience, I have a ozone gadget fitted on my cats litter tray and perhaps that may be a solution for some users. The litter is easy to remove and lasts ages.

Caused both my cats to have an upset stomach
I was very hopeful when I saw the positive reviews for this litter; I made the worst mistake buying it as it not only has a weird chemical smell but as soon as I got this litter both my cats have had persistent diarrhoea since last week (they are both indoor cats & haven't had any change to their diet or environment). I soon figured the litter must have caused this, especially when they clean their paws as the litter is very sticky when soiled. AVOID IF YOUR CATS HAVE SENSITIVE STOMACHS!

Good
Good cat litter for my indoor cat. Appears to be the only one that reduces odour.

It stinks!
Great clumping ability, clumps are a breeze to remove and do stick to the tray if the litter level isn’t deep enough otherwise it isn’t a problem. But, it smells lovely when first put in the tray but as soon as my cat does anything in it it smells nasty! The whole room the tray’s in smells nasty too and although I’ve tried to find an odour to compare it to I just can’t.

Horrid
Absolutely disgusting! It smells within a few hours, if it gets on the wall it is like a clay - no way to clean it. The smell is horrid and with the pee in it is just unbearable, I can feel it in my eyes. I've been using Golden Grey Odour for years but as it was out of stock, I decided to use Master instead. What a mistake!

Not what it used to be
I've used this litter in the past and was impressed but the formula must have changed. Clumping is still better than generic 'supermarket' brands but now, upon scooping it easily breaks up. More litter accumulates on top of top-entry litter boxes, also tracking onto the carpet despite sieve function on the litter box itself. It starts to smell much sooner and turns to sludge at less than 5" depth. This used to be reliable, hard clumping and lasted much longer.

Try the pink one
The best cat litter I've tried, but it need to be the pink one. Tried the others and they are not that good. It clumps perfectly, doesn't have a strong sense and most of the times doesn't have a lot of dust. Works perfectly for my cats

Vile
This is the worst cat litter ever and I bought 2 bags. Usually I use the professional cat litter in baby powder, amazing stuff but it doesn’t look like that’s being sold on here anymore. So I picked this, it’s vile smelling rubbish, smells within hours. Goodness knows what I’ll try next and I only have 1 cat. Yuc yuc yuc.

Great product
I've been using Golden Grey Master for over a year and have been very pleased with it. It's got a nice smell and clumps well. The litter tray needs a good depth of it, and then regular top-ups. Easy to clean the tray afterwards too.

Can't use anything else
I first bought this when I moved here from the US as it seemed to be the closest thing to American clumping litter and it has worked brilliantly for the last 10 years. I have had no issues with any 'change in formula'. The un-used litter stays perfectly clean so you never have to throw away the excess litter. For people struggling with scooping, try shifting the box to reveal and lift the clumps and then use a fine scoop to remove them.

Terrible!
I am so disappointed with this cat litter! Yes it is a fine grey substance (like clay based cat litter) and yes it has deoderising particles within the litter itself and yes it clumps and yes it tracks much less. BUT cleaning out the clumps and cleaning the litter tray after use is a NIGHTMARE task!! I will never buy this again I am going back to Greenwood's and Cat's Best cat litter. Sorry Zooplus, I have never before felt I ever needed to complain about a product you have for sale.

Not my cup of tea
I find it very dusty and its scent overpowering on pouring more than a top-up. I also somehow tend to get my scoop stuck IN the clumps, which still seem damp in the middle. The pee clumps seem huge, but I've no basis for comparison in other litter, so maybe they're no worse than others. But it clumps okay and my cats haven't had issue with it. It's also very fine, which might be good for cats with more sensitive paws.

Changed from normal
I've been using this for about 3 years, however the last batch is different, it is much darker and no longer has that baby powder smell that I like about the last one. Disappointed.

Tracks everywhere!
I’m truly gutted that I’m having to look for yet another appropriate litter to use because this does clump extremely well, but it tracks everywhere!!!! It’s highly infuriating- but the worst part is that because of the small particles, my hoover doesn’t pick it up; it just moves it around the floor so I have to get on my hands and knees and use a small dust pan and brush to clean my ENTIRE HOUSE (which is predominantly carpeted) grrrr!
