Trixie High Frequency Dog Whistle - With Frequency Protection

It broke on the first day of use

I have always used dog whistles as I have three dogs - and need to keep them in order. This whistle is not very loud and unless the dog is within 6 ft of the person using it, then they do not hear it. I have tried adjusting it but cannot make it louder. Resorted back to my plastic dog whistle which works.

I purchase the whistle for gundog training. Big mistake! Firstly the mouthpiece is so short you cannot hold the whistle in your mouth. Secondly it does not sound high frequency at all. Buy once, buy right and forget this one.

This whistle is not silent, it kind of 'whispers', plus my dog just looked at me then boxed his own ears. Obviously not a noise that will have him dashing to my side. Good cheap price but you get what you pay for.

The whistle didn’t serve its purpose, it has no effect. The sound is way too loud and unpleasant for people.
