I have a small Maltese – the harness came as a set with the lead. The harness was delivered in XS-S (fits almost perfectly), but the lead was in M-L... far too heavy for such a small dog (the carabiner hooks are really big) and too wide... poor little dog... A call to zooplus wasn’t very successful – apparently, the lead only comes in that one size (which makes no sense to me – small dogs, no bigger than a cat, don’t need a 2m long and almost 1kg heavy lead), but oh well, I’ll have to live with it. Maybe I’ll find a lighter and thinner lead that matches it. That said, the design and functionality (reflective) are very nice. Delivery was lightning fast – hence 4 stars.

The lead is very nice, but my 5-month-old Lab has already chewed through it in an unguarded moment. Such a shame, now I need to get a new one.

I bought this lead a year ago at our local pet shop because zooplus unfortunately only offers leads in 2cm width, and that's just totally impractical for small dogs! The dog's head practically drags on the ground with the heavy clip. So, I got this one in about 1cm width, and the lead is brilliant!!! Very sturdy, and even after a year of use, all the little paw prints are still intact, and it reflects almost as well as it did on the first day. I'm deducting one point because the lead only reflects on one side, and unfortunately, the black side often ends up facing upwards. Otherwise, highly recommended!!!

We are very happy with the lead! At first, it wasn’t suitable for our Bolognese puppy (because the clip is quite large and heavy), so the lead just sat around for a few weeks. Now, we use it daily and are very satisfied. Dirt dries and falls off on its own. It’s a shame that the collars are too big for our little one.
