It’s empty in here!
We ve had to buy 2 halti harness within a year. Our pup is a golden retriever and whilst learning not to pull, has torn 2 harnesses where the double rings are. We are going to try the No Pull Training harness next, and hope this is better made
I bought a small for my terrier x poodle and it is far too big. She is able to get her legs out of it and it’s left just attached to collar. Also the buckles slip however the piece to stop her pulling doesn’t which means it does not work. However it is light and she is happy to wear it. I would like and small but there isn’t one.
Saw this one listed on Zooplus when buying some food so thought would give it a try to stop my young Labrador pulling on the lead. However, it seems impossible to correctly adjust and the straps at the front, where you clip the lead, do not slide smoothly through the ring. Consequently the whole thing pulls sideways towards one leg and any adjustments you have made to the harness quickly undo themselves. Had no effect on 'pulling' and clearly uncomfortable for the dog when walking.
THIS WORKS VERY WELL WITH MY BORDER COLLIE AND CAN RECOMMEND IT BUT THE ADVICE WAS FOR A MEDIUM SIZE FOR BORDER COLLIES AND MY DOG IS 24 KILOS BUT ITS STILL TOO BIG EVEN AFTER ADJUSTING STRAPS.. ALSO THE FASTENING CLIP COULD DO TO BE HIGHER UP AS ITS DIFFICULT TO FASTEN WHEN UNDER THE DOG ALSO IT CATCHES ON HIS COAT WHEN FASTENING
Our puppy pulls so we purchased one of these to try. It was quite difficult to fit on my own but with two people it would be easy. Once fitted it was fairly easy to put on although the clip onto the collar is fiddly but provides extra security. He pulls a lot on it and runs around off the lead and it doesn't restrict his movement or cause any change to his bark or breathing. Unfortunately he chewed through the front part after 2 weeks but we have purchased a 2nd because it fit so well.
My two huskies can pull for Ireland! They have pulled me over on one or two occasions and I used to barely manage. Since the halti, I must say pulling has reduced by I would estimate 75% and as a result we have double or trippled the lenght of our walks as they have become so so much more enjoyable. Two side-notes maybe: carefully consider the size needed for your dog as I got one that was too big for one of them. Would a size guide per weight be more appropriate? I would love the material to be a bit more sturdy. Can I suggest a leather alternative? Thanks so much.
I have a 7 month old Boxer cross Dorgue De Bordeaux. Sadly it has only improved his pulling by maybe 20%. I was very disappointed as I have read some really good reviews.
This product is great. I know have complete control over my dogs movements on walks as it controls the dog by the chest. Would highly recommend to any dog owner. 5*
i brought this for my 9 month Labrador who pulls very badly. The results were instant and i now enjoy our walks! Has nice padding too.
