My 2 year old cat suffered intussusception from digesting the (extremely) loose wicker from this cat tree. She nearly died and we now have a long recovery ahead. My cat is not normally one who eats loose strings etc, so this tree has been a very dangerous and traumatising purchase.

The water hyacinth weaving comes apart too easily on the flower cat tree. This tree used to last for years but the weaving on the beds was tighter and looked different (maybe a coating on it in the past?) I bought a new one and quickly the weaving was breaking off & getting in my cats’ mouths. Zooplus sent a replacement tree which lasted only a few weeks before the weaving did the same thing. Ordered a new flower tree, that arrived with the weaving already torn off on both baskets!

I had purchased the xxl flower cat tree and was really pleased with it so I ordered the smaller version for the bedroom. The smaller flower cat tree is very bad quality with the weave on the baskets not finished off properly and gaps in the fur parts where the stem joints.

I love the look of this cat tree but after about 6 months it is falling apart. 1 year old now & it needs to be replaced, only wish I could attach a pictures to show how bad it is. I have 2 bengals so need one that has 2 beds. Very bad choice.
