Natural Paradise Scratching Tree - Magnolia XL Plus

The beds become misshapen quickly & wear out. They cannot be purchased as spares so I had no choice but to spend over £32 to buy two wooden shelves from Zooplus which use identical beds . The shelves were thrown away & within 10 months the beds were worn out again. Re safety,the beds are only attached to the shelves with a few strips of Velcro & my cat fell from the top shelf when the bed came away. They look good but I will not buy again unless Zooplus start offering spare parts & extra Velcr

No repair or replacement part for that the top "cat tree-post/ leg". It became wobbly and taken down with the first 5 months. The cat tree is now half in size and kitty doesn't have his high spot in the living-room. The damage was not from normal wear and tear . Our previous cat-tree (half the price of this one) lasted over 4 years ; only replaced because the XL cat-tree seemed like good upgrade for a big cat. Disappointed. Don't recommend it.

Found that 1 of the posts does not screw in properly so will not line up flush with the wood making the tree unstable. Also although the poles are nice and thick the actual metal you are screwing into in them is only about 1 cm long so that is all that is gripping the weight of the tree plus cats. Not what I expected from the product.

Got this for maine coon kitten thought it was absolutely brilliant for him at first. We have only had it around 8 weeks and it looks terrible. The beds are fraying and for some reason it has developed a wobble so much so we have had to take it down as it isn't safe. I am very disappointed in how it has lasted. And as it is over £125 I feel it was a waste of the money now looking for another post for him.

I had to return it. The after-sales service was top-notch. When the cat jumped from one platform to another, it moved a lot. Also, the last platform was really hard to reach, to the point where you could see the cat just looking at it, trying to figure out how to get up... there's not enough space for big cats to jump. To try and make it stable, I had to put weight on the base, and even then it still shook when the cat climbed up, so in the end I decided to return it because for the price, it shouldn't be unstable. The instructions were awful.

This thing wobbles terribly. Now I have to get myself a new Allen key because the one that came with it was already stripped during assembly. So much unnecessary hassle. Just make the tree a bit more expensive if you can't deliver quality at this price—selling rubbish (admittedly, pretty rubbish) is just shabby.

A few years ago, I bought this scratching post in beige. The sisal posts were very sturdy and only needed to be replaced after 4 years. With the new tree, two of the posts already have the staples sticking out. The sisal is much weaker than on the old tree. The wooden boards are much thinner. The fabric on the lying platforms is also much thinner, and the beds are much smaller. Overall, a big disappointment.

The scratching post is unstable and wobbles when the cat moves on it. It can shift by up to 20 cm and bangs against the window.

The scratching post comes in pieces, including the drum, which consists of about 20 slats that you have to arrange and adjust so they fit into the top and bottom grooves. After 30 minutes of assembling and struggling to get each slat to fit properly, if you lift the scratching post by grabbing the top part, the top of the drum lifts up and all the slats fall out. Every time you move the scratching post, there’s a risk the drum will fall apart.

The cat tree is very wobbly when the cat (about 4kg) jumps up, even with the wall mounting it shakes a lot back and forth. The sleeping cushion and the hammock developed holes after a short time. The scratching post, wooden platforms and the cave are well made. The sisal so far only shows minimal signs of use and looks well crafted. (Purchase date: 13.12.2025)

Twice it arrived with a broken canopy. After half a year, the sisal on the front post unravelled. Claimed under warranty, got a new one. After another three quarters of a year, the same thing happened, plus the beds and the hammock are tearing. Washed a total of 5 times during that period. Luckily, we have two other scratching posts. I wouldn’t buy it again.

I bought this product again. The first one lasted 5 years. The second one... well. At first glance, it’s made worse than the previous one. I had to sand the boards because there were quite a few splinters sticking out. And this product just fell apart. After 2 weeks. The box broke, and with it the whole tower collapsed. I do not recommend it.
