I recently bought this for my 16 year old cat to try along with a few other renal food options as she has recently been diagnosed with CKD and she is loving this one! Prior to being diagnosed she was eating untamed which was the only food that seemed to agree with her sensitive stomach compared to other options, so I was worried that she wouldn’t be able to keep this food down. But no digestive issues so far and she’s been on it for about a week and a half. Five stars from us!

After 17 years of healthy life, my cat Sushi was recently diagnosed with stage 2 CKD so the search for an acceptable wet cat food was on. She can’t really manage dry food anymore and when we tried the hills food, she just ate the gravy and on mashing and mixing it up for her, it smelled awful. The pouches also made a mess every time. Seeing that this was in a can and was not pieces in gravy, I gave it a try. It looks more like food with pieces of potato in the meat pate. Sushi seems to like it.
