I expected my more massive/tall kitten to like this, as it gives him much more headroom to do his business, but both the kittens like to use it (and a more conventional covered, but also xxl litter tray). Watching them exit it, they can give their legs a shake to get some of the litter off them. It doesn't totally stop any being tracked, but it's no worse than other types of tray. I'd never come across this "mop bucket" design before, but I'm impressed with it.

This is absolutely brilliant. We bought it because one of our cats was managing to wee through the join of the base and lid on our old one - this has completely solved that problem. We introduced it over the course of a week. First we mixed in some litter from the old tray and left the lid off with a step stool next to the tray so they could investigate without having to jump in. After a few days we put the lid on and a few days after that we removed the step stool.

Very pleased with this litter tray, previously one of my cats was peeing outside edge of tray and then throwing litter everywhere,no litter comes out of this box and also less odour. It is quite big but overall it is great, quite sturdy and good value for money

Kitten was used to a tall hop in litter box so we brought this and another brand for home. No problems using it and very little litter on the floor.

Tried loads of standard trays & box’s with cat flap style doors. 2 Tuxedo Boys who don’t like door entry and on standard design trays either kick the litter everywhere or simply stick their bum outside the tray and end up weeing on the floor. This style has proved terrific, no more litter on the floor, no more weeing on the floor! Personally, I think it’s strong, well made & I have no problem with lid fitting. I use Tigerino Premium Clumping Clay litter (also 5 Star) and keep it deep. No leaks.

We will buy more of these. Raised edge encourages cats to jump onto slotted holes when exiting box, so litter on paws tends to fall back into box. Entrance hole is quite large, for adults and kittens both. Easy to clean. (Be aware of placement: our kittens use the slotted side to jump up onto the windowsill.)

We had been using a standard, open cat littler tray for our two cats. It was messy, smelly and one cat had taken to weeing over the side, even in a fresh tray. Very annoying. I'd never come across this box kind before, but now we have a much tidier house, happier cats, no cat wee smell (how is this possible?!) and somehow the litter seems to last longer. There's loads of room for them to scrabble about inside the box and it's super easy to clean out and make a fresh tray.

Our two cats took a little while to get used to it but it is great now. We had a regular one before and there was little everywhere around it but this one keeps the little in way better and the cats feel safer inside, so when we are around they don’t get startled as often.

Very good sized box for my Ragdoll. He took to it very easily after allowing him to investigate first with the lid off. He uses it with no problems or mess. Easy to clean as well

Love this litter tray , did worry that it would be difficult for my large BSH and large mainecoon, but both manage it easily and chose it over the open front litter tray, hence I’ve just ordered a second one .. fab in that it’s stable even when my clumsy lump of a BSH lands full pelt on top of it in his haste to use his tray lol. Love that I no longer get cat litter trod across the bathroom floor , have been really surprised absolutely nothing to sweep up round this litter tray. A+++++++.

It’s massive! Perfect for my cat who spreads litter and wees over the side of his standard litter tray. This has just made my life so much easier as I was having to hoover and clean the floor several times a day. A little bit of litter comes out when he jumps out but I’ve just used a mat next to it and he no longer tracks it round the house. Really happy and brilliant price.

Our cat is very vigorous in burying her business, so much so that most of the litter in a normal tray ended up all over the floor. This took her a couple of days to get used to but she's really taken to it. The design is excellent and instead of sweeping the floor 3 times a day, it only needs doing a couple of times a week now.

Catches almost all litter bits. No more litter on the floor around the box. Should have bought this ages ago.

no more cat litter over floor and have had several other trays!! its compact clean and easy to use for the cats and for me to clean

I was on the lookout for something better than the std hooded litter tray after years of having litter tracked around the house by our 4 cats. I read the reviews on these and they seemed to good to be true. I waited for them to come back in stock and ordered 2 to try out. These are as good as the reviews make them out to be, I cant believe such a simple design has such a massive effect on keeping the litter in the box. Ok they dont stop 100% of litter but I would say they catch 98%

Bought this litter tray as I have a cat poop eating dog, he can get in all the other trays but not this one. I have five cats and they will all use it. I will definitely be replacing the others with this one eventually.

I bought this as a replacement box for my two indoor cats. For the price - what a bargain! Such a great design and pretty much keeps all of the litter in the box where it belongs.

Love this litter box. Definitely less tracking and strong good quality. Disappointing that it was such a good buy that price has increased by over 40% as it was a great value box.

We’ve had many litter trays but this by far is my favourite - it’s a good size and certainly stops the litter being flicked and walked about. I’ve 2 British shorthairs, 1 of which is a big cat 5.8kg.. it did take him a while to get used to it I left the lid off until he would use it then waited a few days and put the lid on and now he’s brilliant, goes in and out no bother.
