I've had many of these boxes over 10+ years but so disappointed with this grey one, already shows sign of wear/scratching. I prefer the white /zebra one which seem to last longer

The litter box is big and my cats really like it. But when it arrived there is a crack on the lid. It is probably damaged during the transport, but shows the quality is just so so. It would probably be ok if it is just used at home, but if you need to take it somewhere else regularly you need a more robust one.

This litter box is a really good, large size, however the clasps to connect the top to the bottom do not work so the lid has been left loose.

Big enough for my Maine coon- trouble is that because it is so big, it weighs a ton when full of litter and the weight compromises the structure. It is not actually very sturdy. Having said that, is very reasonably priced and you could afford to replace it now and again.

Nice and large but I find when my Siamese pees it often leaks out where the two halfs fit together

I agree with Angie. The good things: Good size for cats who like a good turning circle. Strong handle makes lifting easy. Now the not so good: The locks are stiff. Also, as its a big tray its a bit cumbersome when it comes to cleaning the lid. And the downright useless: There is no 'cage' for the filter. I found one of my cats chomping her way through the filter - it was so easy for her to lift the filter off the top. SO, it defeats the object of having a filter.

Have to agree with others about the filter - such a stupid idea having it uncovered - the kittens went for it straight away, so I had to take it off - at the moment I have put it back and placed the perspex door over it as the kittens are unsure of using the box with the flap on, so it has temporarily solved the problem, but it definately needs looking at. Otherwise quite a good box.

Some great ideas including deep tray, bag holder, but find it annoying that with the hood correctly shut the swing door catches on the box/bag holder instead of moving freely. Means you have to lift the filter section slightly so it passes/swings with ease, not ideal. But for the money...

Just received this the other day and it's great as far as keeping the litter enclosed and my cat not kicking his poop out of the box but the swinging door freaks him out. He won't go in to use it when I have the trap door in place, but once I lift it up over top of the filter he can go in without fear of being trapped. I really should have got this for him when he was a wee kitten, but maybe he's still so young that this is why he won't use the trap door on it (??) Like the idea very much. Hope that the filters won't be hard to replace at ordinary pet suppliers as I won't always be purchasing regular products online.
