The mat is extra large and helps to trap fine litter, but not to the point where you would see no litter elsewhere. I find the cleaning tricky. The velcro is usefull and sticks together strongly, but you need to be careful cleaning the mat as most of the litter will fall out by the gaps as you try to open the velcro. Also, if your cat loose poo and manages to miss the tray, the poo will get pressed through the mesh onto the underlying fabric making the cleaning difficult.

Price is good and helps with fine litter. I will buy a second one.. But it is not amazing at all.

Well made item but it is not the answer

I've been looking for a mat for ages that captures the bits. This is a great concept, however, I use Catsan and some of the bigger particles don't fall through the holes (which I thought was the idea?). I wouldn't advise purchasing if you use pellets. If anyone can advise on a finer cat litter, give me a shout. Early days yet. A great price though compared to some other sites!
