still stinks
Litter Locker unfortunately doesn't live up to its promises and reeks to high heaven. A complete waste of money!

Not so great.
I also have the Litter Locker, and my enthusiasm is rather limited. The opening is too small, and the refill cassette never lasts two months with two cats—maybe one week at best. Plus, you waste half of it just on the ties, and the last bit can be thrown away because it’s not enough anymore. Since the refill cassettes are far too expensive for me—€7.99 here in Austria—I use simple long plastic bags that I bring home from work; they serve the same purpose.

Interesting technology with enormous follow-up costs
Three fully grown Maine Coons produce a ton of waste! It needs to be emptied every other day, and the refill cartridge is used up after a week. So, the whole system makes little sense for me and my four-legged friends. It might be different in a household with 1-2 cats...

Interesting technology - unacceptable follow-up costs
A really good idea, this bin, but with 3 fully grown Maine Coons, it’s not really practical. The capacity is too small for that. It needs to be emptied every other day, and one film cassette only lasts for a week! So, for me, the whole thing is neither practical nor affordable in the long run...! Such a shame.

Refill cartridges are getting more and more expensive...
I’ve been using the Litter Locker II for years and am very happy with the system, but we used to pay around €5.50, and now the cartridges keep getting more expensive—recently €6.99, and now €7.99… not great!!!

Doesn't close properly, function failed.
In principle, a very good idea, but the slot that separates the bag is still too large. Therefore, the odour-blocking function is not effective. Additionally, the refill bags are too expensive and insufficient.

Cassettes are far too expensive.
Thank you for the post "almost perfect" from 12/06/12. Exactly my problem – I find the original cartridges far too expensive, which is why the Litter Locker has been sitting unused for weeks. Now I’ll try using bin bags instead. I already spend more money on cat litter than on food, even though I buy high-quality food, but I really don’t need these ridiculously expensive cartridges. In hindsight, I already regretted buying the Litter Locker 2. It takes up a lot of space and isn’t exactly decorative either. So, I wouldn’t buy it again.

Disappointing
The toilet is significantly smaller than the picture suggests. The spring is tight (which is good), but the container is too light. This means it either comes towards you and/or opens up. Without the luxury of a third arm, I find the handling rather unsatisfactory. It’s also not suitable for cats with diarrhoea. The scoop doesn’t fit through the opening, meaning anything not 100% coated in litter sticks to the plastic liner. Very little odour control. However, the holder for the scoop directly on the container is very practical. Unfortunately, the tear resistance of the liner is also not optimal. The concept is a great idea, but I’d only buy it again if the base plate were weighted, the liner made tear-resistant, and the opening adjusted to fit the scoop size.

The film is a disaster..
We've had the LL 2 for almost 2 years now and have always been very satisfied, but since the refill cassettes have been changed, I'm considering switching to something else. 😢 Unfortunately, I've already had bad luck 3 times in a row!!! There were tears in the film right at the beginning, and I had to cut off and throw away the first estimated 80 cm. It's just too expensive for that. 😢 Maybe the manufacturer will eventually start producing the old film again if the complaints pile up??

Litter Locker very good, rubbish bags bad
The LitterLocker is very good; I've been using it for over a year. Initially, the rubbish bags were sturdy too. For the past few months, however, the packaging of the rubbish bags has changed to a new colour, and the quality has become very poor. The bags tear regularly, and then you end up with a mess. More expensive and worse quality – I’ll probably have to look for the original bags again.

The bags have deteriorated significantly.
I've been using the LitterLocker for about 1 1/2 years now and have always been very satisfied with it.
Unfortunately, since the last delivery of refill bags, they've changed significantly for the worse.
I keep finding holes in the plastic tubing! You really have to be careful not to miss one.
Also, the company now skips the red stripe near the end of the roll that lets you know it's running out.
I think that's a shame, especially since the refills aren't exactly cheap.
I'm considering whether to keep ordering these refills or just use regular bin bags with the LL, as it works well that way too.

The idea is good, but...
The Litter Locker II lets odours escape if you don’t immediately tie up the bag and start a new one. This is necessary for us, otherwise you’d feel like your nose is going to fall off ;-). Because of this, the cassette only lasts about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks!!! So, it’s a very expensive affair. The idea is really great, but as I said, it still smells when you throw the little piles ;-) in at the top. On top of that, you have to shake the whole thing first so that the mess falls down to the bottom :-(. I wouldn’t buy it again...

Quite nice, but nothing more.
The Litter Locker II is certainly functional and practical to use, but completely unnecessary! There are regular bins that seal just as airtight and are therefore "odour-proof," but cost less than a quarter of the price. On top of that, the refill cartridges are ridiculously overpriced, and if you clean the litter box several times a day, they run out very quickly.

Initially great
I have 3 indoor cats and I have to say, after 5 months, I’ve put the 2 bins in the cupboard and now use my "own" invention ;)
The refill packs are far too expensive.
In my opinion, the opening of the bin is too small. The scoop for the clumps is big enough, but it’s too large for the bin’s opening. Some of it ends up on the edge of the opening. The bin looks big, but in reality, not much fits inside. I think a lot of space has been wasted. It would also be better if you could lock the sliding lid. With three cats, there are obviously more piles (and I clean twice a day).
My conclusion: For up to 2 cats, the bin is great, and the costs are manageable. From 3 cats onwards, the bins are simply too small. You need a new pack far too quickly, and that becomes way too expensive.

For one cat it's okay, but for several it's quite expensive.
Up to one cat in the household, it's a great thing, but if you have two or more cats, it gets quite expensive. I have two British Shorthair cats, and with one refill cassette, I only managed to last about three weeks. If you calculate it, it comes to around €120 per year. Otherwise, it's a great product. But it is quite ridiculous that you have to pay €6.99 for such a refill cassette.

I'm very disappointed.
I have been using the LL1 for years. Then I bought the LL2 because the cartridges are cheaper and the reviews were positive. I can't agree with that. I have 4 cats. With the LL1, the capacity lasts 5-6 days. Only urine – faeces go down the toilet. With the LL2, the container is full late on the 3rd day, and the slider no longer closes.
After 2 weeks, I put the LL2 in the basement and started using the LL1 again.
