Cost and Hassle Saving with Cartridge
Honestly, some reviews.., unfortunately a butler is not included in the price.
It’s robustly made and a good size. If you are capable of tying a simple knot, you are off to a great start. Pull the sturdy bag down, and you will get a good few days of stink free filling.
When it comes to emptying, open the lid and use the cutter. If you can’t see it, I suggest you turn on a light. Tie a knot and get someone to put it in the outside bin, seen you are too posh to yourself. Job done. Great buy!

Stylish – but impractical compared to the previous version
Unfortunately, it's much less practical than the first version. You can't properly open the container to empty it anymore. You can only open the top part of the slider, which creates a real bottleneck. If the bag is packed full with clumping litter, emptying it becomes really awkward and difficult. With the first version, you could open the container completely in the middle and take the bag out without any hassle. So for us, it's clearly a step backwards.

a bit silly
I bought this version by accident. There's a newer version that's easier to use (Litter Locker "Easy Roll"). This one is okay, but the waste bag works strangely and takes a bit more effort than the newer one. I'd rather have the "Easy Roll" version.

Great product
I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and I can say it's worth the money! I have 2 cats and the litter box is in my room; I scoop every day and put it in the Litter Genie, and there's no smell!!!!
Minor issue: there were 2 scratches on the Litter Genie, which was a bit upsetting.

Overrated!
I've had one for over a year. Switching back to a regular metal bin. You're fooling yourselves with this, you're falling for the marketing that says you need a special bin for your cat and making yourselves dependent on their refill cartridges. It's not good at blocking odours. I still had to use individual dog poo bags every time I emptied the litter box, otherwise too much smell spread – so a regular bin works perfectly fine + I can use ordinary rubbish bags. DO NOT BUY!

The cartridges with the bags become brittle really quickly! (4-5 balls)
You always have to tie a knot to make it airtight. It still stinks!

By the way, you won’t be able to fit more than 1-2 days’ worth of litter in it...
Vegetable bags are cheaper and more airtight.

Unfortunately not convincing
It's good to have a sturdy bin. However, there's no mention of odour prevention. Maybe if everything is normal. My cat currently has an infection and the poo really stinks. I disposed of the poo in the product and closed all the parts. Unfortunately, there was still a strong smell! The entrance is just about okay for the big litter pellets. (I have a large German Longhair.) Litter gets stuck in the hinge. The idea with the bag is quite nice, but very expensive. Opening the cartridge is difficult and it's prone to breaking.
