I purchased this product twice. The first time I had an issue with 2 legs, which I mentioned in my previous review, but this was very minor after all, but there was no option to amend a review. Subsequently, I purchased one more item and am very pleased with both of them. The product is well made, good size and very reasonably priced.

I just purchased this product and was pleased with the size and the appearance. However, when I screwed-in the legs, they came off while positioning the stool. The plugs/washers just came off from the legs. I need to figure out how to fix the legs before the cats can use it.

My Maine coon kitten loves his look out at the top of the stairs. I had a similar version from another online pet supplier but this one is larger & with a cushion inside so it feels more comfortable.

The legs on this product - on two separate orders - are weak. No-one sat on them, for context, but the bolts/washers are not well affixed to the leg column, so screwing them in was a faff and the glue on the leg bolts failed quickly on two legs for the first one. I didn't bother using the legs on the second at all - these now sit directly on the floor instead, which if this design just didn't bother with legs in the first place, is a better way to display them. The cats don't really use them...

Love this little stool/den that I bought for Micks. Initially I put the inner cushion on top and he went to lay on that. I temporarily put a blanket inside to get his smell in there. Once he’d slept on top, I then put the cushion back inside. He has now happily ventured to sleep inside. He likes to sleep inside my cupboards, so thought he may like this. It’s very sturdy and an adult can sit on it.

Have four cats who like to find their own hiding spaces. Lately they’ve been getting grumpy with each other. Wanted a cat den that was individual (e.g. not a big cat tree) and was raised off the floor. This was an instant hit and blends in nicely with any room upstairs or downstairs in the house. So much so, I’ve come back to Zooplus to order another 2!

This lovely stool arrived today and goes well with my sofas. I was shocked at the toxic smell coming from the cushion. It stinks! I’ve hand washed it twice but the smell remains. I’ll put it inside of a pillowcase to see if that gets rid of the smell but I fear my cat won’t go near it. I’ll probably have to buy a separate non-smelly cushion cover. Lost 2 stars for the smell and inconvenience!

Excellent size for bigger cats. Very sturdy and easy to put together, Hope and Hudson couldn't move quick enough to try it out, to prevent fights between them of who gets to sleep in the cave I've had to buy a second.

This stool looks great and doesn't scream "cat" unlike many other dens and scratch posts (which I personally perfer). The kittens use it to climb onto the bed. One negative I have found that it smells really weird. Maybe this is why they don't lie in it. I hope the smell will fade over time and they'll take to it as a nice little den. If all else fails, you can use it as a stool, it seems quite sturdy for a normal-sized person. The inside could also be padded, that would make it even cosier.

Really nice cat den,good quality and easy to assemble,one of my cats has already been in it,other 2 not sure at the moment but I think they will like it.good value for money and well made,highly recommend.

This is much bigger than I imagined, it's very sturdy, solid wood legs with rubber non slip feet. An adult can sit on it and it's fine as an extra dining stool at a kitchen table. Lily is a Maine Coon and she can fit inside happily. She also likes sitting on top. Stylish!

Our cat loves this. He has the choice of sitting on top or hiding inside. Might not be the best for ' big 'cats.
