Disappointment
None of the cats – not even our neutered farm cats – like it; it’s barely touched. Money down the drain. Stay away.

Organic doesn't always mean great.
As mentioned in the other reviews, my 5 cats only eat the sauce... the chunks are left untouched for ages. I was misled by the organic label – unfortunately, it contains quite a lot of grains, which cats can't digest. Mine ended up with diarrhoea because of it.

A case of "close but no cigar" – unfortunately, it didn't work out.
The food is unfortunately a complete no-go for my three furry friends (including two skinny ones from a Romanian animal shelter, who are definitely not spoiled). I don’t know who was more disappointed, the cats or me. Even the stray cat, who usually polishes off leftovers overnight, won’t touch it. What am I supposed to do with the remaining 11 tins now?

Awesome and ethical
My cats are both eating this and clearing their plates, even the fussy one! It took a period of mixing their previous food so they could get used to the Yarrah. I mash up the chunks.
And it's the same price as the typical supermarket battery chicken cat food.

None of my cats like it
I have 2 cats one is fussy but the other one will eat anything I give him so expected that the fussy one doesn’t like it but the non fussy one won’t go near it. Very disappointed as it looked like a good product!

Not suitable for my cat at all
The chunks are way too big, even for my big cat. What's worse, he's got a sensitive stomach and food allergies, and this food gave him a constant diarrhoea. I was waiting for over a week hoping his belly will adjust but there was nothing to do. I donated the rest of the food to the cat charity and won't ever buy it again.

Turkey and chicken
For years, I've been buying Yarrah Pate Chicken. But since they love licking sauces so much, I decided to try this one. The very liquid - almost watery - sauce disappointed me, but my gang licked it up first. The meat chunks are left behind, attracting flies and wasps. Some less picky and always hungry cats eventually eat them bit by bit. Good-tasting food is gone within 3 minutes. The stars are for organic food! There should be much more of it.

Great for my cat with sensitive digestion
The food is great for one of my cats who has a very sensitive digestion. He likes the taste and its healthy.
The size of the chunks are far to large for a cat which I find strange for cat food.
In saver pack there are quite a few dented tins and some quite badly dented. Zooplus needs to rectify this as I will be checking next time.
All in all a good product.

Food test passed!
I ordered a tin of Yarrah to try out (the variety in sauce – pâté gets ignored) as a test, and this morning I put it in my picky cat’s bowl. Not only did she immediately lap up the sauce, but she also ate a few chunks straight away. What matters most to me is that my cat enjoys it, as she’s not only suffering from heart disease but also has asthma. I don’t want to force-feed her something she doesn’t like at all costs.

Just a quick addendum...
To follow up on my positive feedback from this morning: the chunks are quite large, but very tender. So, for my cat’s little mouth, I had to cut the food into smaller pieces with a knife. Otherwise, top-notch ^^.

Good value
I tried this in response to reading an article on the variable nutritional qualities and ethical values of pet food. Our cats initial suspicion was soon cast aside and was rapidly mopped up. The larger chunks have to eaten rather than just swallowed which slows them up eating. Despite seeming more expensive we are actually saving money as there is no waste.

Cats love it!
Looks a bit grey and gloopy but that doesn't matter to the moggies! They love it and I love that it is good quality meat which is raised organically which makes feeding Carnivores slightly less troubling for the vegetarian!

Finally, a food that's healthy and my cat loves!

Not acceptable at all.
I thought I’d treat my tomcat to something nice – and indeed: he goes almost crazy when he smells the food and immediately laps up the sauce. Then come the chunks. They’re compressed and very soft – all in all, he doesn’t get full from it at all and meows all day for more food. Conclusion: the meat doesn’t fill him up, the sauce is tasty but addictive, the tomcat eats endlessly and gains weight. No thanks.

The sauce is apparently the best...
... because that always gets licked up first, then the chunks come next. An all-time favourite of our two fur sharks (European Shorthair, male, female, neutered, almost 4 years old).

Our little one thinks it's brilliant.
Our little cat absolutely loves this food. Unlike other types of food, she tolerates this one exceptionally well.

Everyone loves it
Top-quality food at a top price. All three cats love it, and our eldest (12 years old) has lost her chronic cough and dandruff thanks to the change in food. I had many vet visits because of this. The higher the quality of the food, the healthier the cat! Excellent value for money!!!!

Maine Coon cats don't eat it.
When I ordered the food, I wanted to treat my cats to something nice.
At first, with the first tin, they still ate it... but only two or three pieces of meat.
After that, every time I tried to give it to them, they turned their backs on the food as soon as I put it in the bowl.
They don’t eat it at all anymore, and now I have 20 tins sitting here, and I don’t know what to do with them. I’ve tried again and again, but it just doesn’t go down well.
I have to say, unfortunately, I had higher hopes.
But I do think the quality is very good, as the cats of a friend of mine absolutely love it.
Well... maybe my cats just aren’t used to anything NICE ;-)

It gets devoured...
We feed our cats a varied diet, exclusively organic.
Plus: my cats enjoy eating it, and it’s affordable.
Minus: I’m not thrilled with the composition (wheat as filler + only 37% meat with animal by-products...) or the appearance of the food, but since I don’t feed just one type of food anyway, it’s fine in combination with other, higher-quality food.

Super food
Our cats love this food. Especially our tomcat enjoys the large, tasty chunks.
