… is the Deep Forest (chicken and game) from this range. He goes off every other product I’ve ever tried him on, but he’ll even lick the container clean for this. Even after 18 months of almost daily feeding it.

All the info points to a really good food. And my cats ate some of the chicken flavour, but left a little on the plates. The smell in the house was overpowering, it really does smell awful. Then my senior boy projectile vomited a dark brown slurry type of liquid. I will try them again on a different flavour. But I’m just not too sure really. It’s all so expensive I want to give them the best but what is the best?

The product looks really high-quality and smells quite good too. Unfortunately, our cats don’t take to it very well (hence one star deducted). However, our little furry friends are really very picky when it comes to wet food. I guess we’ll just have to keep looking.

My Cat is super fussy but she loves the Wild Freedom wet food and wolfs it down and licks the bowl clean.

A good looking pâté with jelly stock. A good complete food with a mix of chicken meat and offal with minerals. Being in trays and in six-packs it works out marginally more than the, equally good, Catz Finefood 16-pack of pouches (Poultry) for actual feeding so I will try in cans next.

Even when her favourite treat was placed on top, she still wouldn't touch it... Such a shame, another wasted attempt!

My cat deeply hates any pate style food and she eats only pure meat cans, except this one….she absolutely loves it

My Persian cat eats the kibble version but will not touch this wet food , waste of money.

My Persian Cat Sandy loves his Wild Freedom Green Lands Lamb kibble but I can not get him to try this wet food in same brand. I am getting out of pocket buying and wasting these wet foods.

Wild Country Pure Chicken was something I ordered alongside Wild Freedom Instinctive, curious to see if my two extremely picky Persian Colourpoint and Sacred Birman cats would eat it. They both do. They love it and tolerate it very well (no diarrhoea / no vomiting). And I’m glad to have finally found wet food to go with their previously preferred dry food.

I ordered "Salmon & Chicken" several times and both of my cats like it. One of my cat eats everything, but another is very picky. I am glad that she doesn't refuse to eat this.

My two cats absolutely love this food in the tray, especially Deep Forest. It's not too firm, and there's a bit of sauce/jelly included as well. Unfortunately, they don't like the tins as much, even though there's also Deep Forest available in that format. The tinned food has a much firmer consistency and apparently a different composition compared to the trays. Such a shame, otherwise I would have preferred to repurchase the larger tins.

Sniffed, tried... 3 out of 9 cats ended up eating it.

My cat liked the lamb variety so I decided to try beef as well. Unfortunately the consistency of this is not the same at all. It's a quite dry mashed meat into a patty like consistency and she doesn't want to eat it. Stuck now with two more packs of this. In the same order I also had some of the lamb ones and noticed some of them also were more dry, which was quite unfortunate.I might still stick with the lamb as the ingredients and protein amount is still better than others I tried.

My 12-year-old tomcat is very picky when it comes to food, and it’s difficult to find something he’ll actually eat. For the past few weeks, he’s been trying different varieties of 'Wild Freedom', and ever since, his plate has always been empty. My cat has taken to the food really well, and it seems to taste great to him. So far, I’ve tried 'Cold River', 'Golden Valley', and 'Deep Forest', so I can’t comment on the other flavours, but for these three, my cat would probably give them 5/5 stars.

My 14-year-old cat lady has problems with diarrhoea. I've now ended up with Wild Freedom. She gets on really well with the senior and supplementary food. No plant-based additives. Now I'm trying this one with salmon and chicken. She eats it brilliantly – she practically inhales it. I leave out the jelly that's in the tray. Still need to test a bit to see if she tolerates it.
