Sharp, hard, gray inedible pieces

The last batch of this that I bought had sharp inedible pieces of something in every tin that I have had to pick out. Really dangerous for a cat to eat. I am absolutely changing brands.

Only thing my cat consistently eats…

… is the Deep Forest (chicken and game) from this range. He goes off every other product I’ve ever tried him on, but he’ll even lick the container clean for this. Even after 18 months of almost daily feeding it.

Not too sure

All the info points to a really good food. And my cats ate some of the chicken flavour, but left a little on the plates. The smell in the house was overpowering, it really does smell awful. Then my senior boy projectile vomited a dark brown slurry type of liquid. I will try them again on a different flavour. But I’m just not too sure really. It’s all so expensive I want to give them the best but what is the best?

Wide Country - Pure Chicken - Trays

A good looking pâté with jelly stock. A good complete food with a mix of chicken meat and offal with minerals. Being in trays and in six-packs it works out marginally more than the, equally good, Catz Finefood 16-pack of pouches (Poultry) for actual feeding so I will try in cans next.

I ordered "Salmon & Chicken" several times and both of my cats like it. One of my cat eats everything, but another is very picky. I am glad that she doesn't refuse to eat this.

Not consistent

My cat liked the lamb variety so I decided to try beef as well. Unfortunately the consistency of this is not the same at all. It's a quite dry mashed meat into a patty like consistency and she doesn't want to eat it. Stuck now with two more packs of this. In the same order I also had some of the lamb ones and noticed some of them also were more dry, which was quite unfortunate.I might still stick with the lamb as the ingredients and protein amount is still better than others I tried.

Mixed Pack no longer available?

My cat really enjoyed these, but the mixed pack is no longer available to order. I'm not going to buy multiple boxes to get each flavour, so he's unfortunately going to have to go without this brand now.

Unfortunately my cat didnt like it

Love the packaging, but my Ragdoll boy wasnt interested in this brand at all. Got mixed packs and all of them had to go in the bin. He would eat only less than a quarter of the tray and will never get near the bowl again.

Another Paté

If I'd have known it was a paté I would not have bought it. Our two boys had a bit of a lick at it then refused. They just do not like paté for some reason.

My cat needs a grain-free diet - these perfectly sized portions are good quality. My cat loves them, and I love them as the containers are v quick and easy to clean for recycling.

Surprised

My bengal is very fussy when it comes to food. She was eating this product from the can but sometimes she wouldn't touch it. With this one I'm surprised that she is eating it all, no fuss and she likes all flavours. I'm very pleased. Tried to swap it from time to time with the can one but she knows haha

Perfect for testing

After trying the chicken variety, we decided to try some other types as well. The contents of the tray are just like the can, with a pâté-like texture. Some varieties even had larger pieces of organs. I wish there were trays available for the other Wild Freedom varieties too, so I could make sure my cat likes them before ordering the big cans.

Absolute front-runner

I never would have thought it—I've tried countless different wet foods, but our very picky lady (Mandy) has found her (current?) favourite. Disappointed with the latest batches

Very disappointed with the latest batches. I bought a larger quantity because my five cats used to eat it very well, but the last batch has a different colour and smell compared to the ones I bought before, and now the cats completely refuse to eat it.
