The pump features a self-closing thermal switch for protection against overheating. The device can be entirely immersed in water and when handled manually the pump can pump out water out of 2.3m depth.
Thanks to its clean, oil free operation, the pump is perfectly safe, and won't affect the pond's ecosystem.
