The chew strips are made of real beef raw hide that is cut into pieces and sprayed with additional substances. One of these substances is a dairy product that contain enzymes. These enzymes help to break down the concentrations of sugar from dog food found in tartar build-up. Another of these substances is Spirulina, a type of algae that is also used in human foods due to its rich nutrients. As a supplement to improve bad breath, spearmint is also used.
This way Bay-O-Pet frees plaque and protects from tooth decay and periodontosis.
