Tips for the Splash Trainer:
It is important that the Splash Trainer only be used sparingly and that the dog be praised as soon as he begins to reorient. Only after some time has passed can the reinforcement impulse (praise, play, clicker or combinations thereof) be given again, i.e. when the dog is sitting properly in front of the trainer. It should once again be stressed that the Splash Trainer must never be used repeatedly within a short period of time, since this will reduce its effect. You should also ensure that the Splash Trainer is initially used only in situations where the your dog's misbehavior is only mild.
