Product description

Delicious, crunchy cat treats with a beneficial malt paste inside, helping to move swallowed hairs through the digestive system and avoid hairballs, made with natural ingredients.

Treat your cat to these irresistible beaphar Malt Bits, a tasty snack that offers key health benefits. Each piece is a small cushion, with a smooth paste on the inside and a crunchy outside for your cat to bite into. They are made with wholesome natural ingredients, which can cause colour variation between the treats, and are ideal for all cat breeds.
Cats spend a great deal of time licking and cleaning themselves, which can result in hairs ending up in their digestive systems. The paste in these beaphar Malt Bits is delicious malt, which helps to move these swallowed hairs through your cat's intestines and prevent the build up of hairballs.
beaphar Malt Bits also come in a handy resealable pouch, ensuring freshness and flavour with every crunch!

Tasty crunchy treats
Another hit for my ragdoll who doesn’t like dreamies so great he likes these which also combat hairballs and keep him moving, fed alongside many other types of treats to ensure he gets variety, would definitely buy again.

my cat wouldn't even try them!
My part Bengal has her likes and dislikes but is not especially fussy but she wouldn't look at them. I was not worried about wasting them as i also have a dog that will eat almost anything. The first on she spit out and subsequently when offered them will either refuse or take one, crunch it and then drop it. normally she will grab anything the cat won't eat but not this time..

excellent says my cats
Tried these after reading the good reviews on these and was looking for something tasty for hairballs that my cats (4) would enjoy. Got these & day one Tried a couple on my bubba's & they went within seconds. . Went to bed that night and left them on the worktop at the back. Came down in the morning to the bag ripped open several times and a good 90% gone. Nothing on the floor. Guess they loved these and having to re-order some more. TO BE KEPT IN THE CUPBOARD!!!!! My cats fully recommend

A BIG HIT!!
My Lilly loves these, I put them in her treat-mouse so she has to work/play a little bit for them, but she's very happy to do that! Highly recommend these treats, and they're good for her too! ONE HAPPY CAT MUMMY 😉

She loves them
I have an indoor long-haired cat. I give her these mixed in with her dry food at dinner time. She eats them up happily. She wouldn't eat any type of hairball treatment in a paste form, but eating malt bits she doesn't suffer from hairballs anymore. Happy cat = happy Mum!

Super delicious
Both our cats are real indoor cats and usually throw up any cat grass I try and feed them. They won't touch malt in tablet form, but I only have to rustle this package and they come running to get their daily serving. They find them delicious.

Cats Love it!
Very good cat treats for our problematic hairball puking cats... They normally refuse to eat other anti hairball treats but they really like these and haven't been sick since. Very good product and very happy owners.

Don't give them too many...
Despite having read reviews that 2 or 3 daily do the trick, I took it upon myself to translate the German instructions which stated 'between 5 and 10 daily'. Now Polo pusscat was having such a hard time with his hairballs that I thought I'd give him 5 in the morning and 5 in the evening. It was really doing the trick until he hit his tolerance one day and pooped all over himself. I assume the malt acts as a mild laxative, which is what caused the poopy episode. I stopped using them immediately, waited for his tummy to recover and then tried giving him just one every other day but I had blown it. Polo can no longer handle these malt bits. I have started mixing psyllium into his food to firm up his poops again. The malt bits are excellent but do go easy on them. A little does the trick.

wonderful product"
I rescue elderly long haired cats, and one of the ongoing problems I have is the vomiting of hairballs. So far, the two culprits haven't thrown up and love these treats!

One of only 2 kinds of treat my cat Alice will eat
I have tried all kinds of treats but these and Thrive 100% meat/fish ones are the only ones she likes. These bulk bags are much more economical as I can only find 35g bags in Pet Shops and they cost around £1.20 (She refuses Dreamies, Webbox, Nature's menu etc)

Great!
My cat loves these and that's quite rare as she's rather fussy- she won't touch Dreamies. She loves these so much I managed to teach her some tricks. I have noticed that she has produced less hairballs since giving her 2 or 3 of these a day.

Yep! Buffy's favourite treat!
She's not interested in anything else now and NO hairballs since she started on them! A huge success!

Ragdoll Ollie loves them!!
My Ragdoll Ollie loves these malt bits, he'll scamper when i open it and will do his adorable tricks like shaking paw or rolling over for them awww... :o) On a more serious note, since he's had them (over 7mths now) he's not coughed up a single fur ball! the star! I'm ordering more today - they last for ages so i feel they're great value!
