Feed your cat in a quiet place. Fill the bowl in the morning, so that your cat has enough food for the entire day. Actual amounts vary with breed, environmental influences, and activity. A temporary loss of appetite is not unusual, and should pick up in a day or so. If not, it may be a sign of illness and you may want to consult your veterinarian. Consult your veterinarian if you believe your cat is too thin or overweight. Please make sure also to provide sufficient water for the day to go with the food. Clean both food and water dishes daily.
