the instructions

we bought this cage it was great we were looking at all the parts when it came but there were no insructions. Its a bother putting it up but once its done and you have your rats happy running around your glad you never lost your temper and never chucked it out the window.

Brand New Cage

Recieved the cage in good time. Product is fairly easy to put together however the instructions on assembley were quite poor. Lots of space for my 4 ferrets, the are really enjoying the cage. Great product, great service.

this is a terrific cage for rats, lots of space and easy to clean. the bar spacing is quite large so not really suitable for does or young rats but the boys love it. Excellent value for money and easy to assemble - room for up to ten rats i would guess, although we only have three in it just now - cant be beaten VFM imo

Ferret Heaven!

The shelves were different to the ones advertised, but they're much better for the ferrets as they run the full width. Found the ladders fiddly to put on and have substituted a low hammock for one of them. I've got 2 ferrets in it who love it - they've been up & down the ramps & it gives them loads of space (so much that I'm sure I could fit another 2 or 3 in)! Fantastic cage, very sturdy & well-designed once built.

Good but not great

The cage arrived quickly but the box was split and badly packaged. One of the middle bases was missing. The customer services people took a while to respond but the missing part was shipped and arrived quickly, but equaly badly packaged. I have 2 female rats in the cage and only use two levels. The wide bar spacing has been a problem so not very suitable for small or young rats or other animals. The instructions were no use but it wasn't too difficult to assemble. Overall, satisfactory.

Such a flexible Rat Cage

I've just got this cage for the 3 bucks I am planning on getting and was very impressed when it arrived in 3 days. It took me under 1 h to put the basics together with the help of the instructions and a bit of common sense and i have since rearranged and assembled it in several different ways.You can use the levels in any combination, i've currently settled on the two big levels after working out how to unclip the roof from the short section, which is being saved as a spare/hospital/travel cage.

Packaging Poor

The packaging it arrived in was very poor, some of the bars were bent and clips broken, which have had to been sent off for. Instructions took forever to understand it wasn't clear what went wear. The clips that clip the cage base to the wire top half, don't fit all of them so the cage is without them. The ladders don't fit into the holes. I'm also having to figure out how to seperate the cages in to another one, as I was told you could do this, but I don't think you get anything to do this.

Not as advertised

My cage came with different shelves which didnt fit and 2 ramps short. The castors broke within 2 months, and the cage is too heavy to manouver for cleaning without them. The supplied water bottles do not stay on the cage. The clips which are supposed to fasten the sections together are too tight. However,I would buy another as the idea is brilliant, my pigs have lots of room and are very happy in this cage. They have plenty of room to run and play, they love the ramps and the different levels.

Very versatile cage

I purchased this cage so I could flatpack two sections to take my ferrets away with us on holidays. My wife and I assembled the cage in less than 2 hours after studying the instructions carefully. It only took 10 minutes to flatpack and 15 minutes to assemble again. The cage was better than I expected it to be and is very sturdy and secure. There was one damaged part which was promptly replaced by Zooplus after sending them an e-mail. A very professional company I would recommend.

Great Rat Cage

The instructions were virtually non-existant, it took me hours to put together, and none of the pieces that came with it were the right ones, but when it was finally all put together it's by far the best rat cage I've got. They absolutely love it, and as soon as I've saved another £80 I'll definately be getting another one!
