Not very safeI bought this for my hamster a while back and I wasn't very pleased. It has no side panel so your hamster is free to fall out and the swing is too small for your pet to have fun in. The ladders are almost vertical so if the hamster lets go it has about a 20cm fall to the ground. If your hamsters gets to the top level he can climb on to the roof through a small hole. I would not recommend this toy.
