A firm favourite

My kitten Willis loves this stuff. He is one of the 2 out of 10 cats that don't prefer whiskers! The Kitten Chicken food is good but as I feed him a diet of complete dried food (James Wellbeloved is brilliant) with cans as supllements I also feed him the fish ones - he prefers them. They are pretty much all fish and The Tuna and Prawn and Tuna and Seaweed are his favourites - he licks the bowl clean every time!

Perfect soft food for my 2 cats!

I have tried all sorts of other brands and sizes but this one is the best because it has no gravy (which they like but do not tolerate well) and it's the perfect size for the amount they usually eat. Now I do not have to throw anything away anymore.

Good quality (Kitten flavour)

I have 2 BSH kittens. Instead of feeding them poor quality food such as Whiskas and Felix which contains only 4% of meat AND animal by-products, I wanted to feed them only best-quality food. Of the premium brands, only Applaws and Almo Nature have developed a flavour specifically for kittens - both with around 50% real meat. The two brands are essentially identical (Almo Nature is less watery), so I will stick with Applaws for its lower price.

The best I've tried

I've been trying to get my cats off "junk food" for ages. This is the first brand that I can guarantee they will leave an empty plate with. It may be more expensive per tin than many other brands, but I think it works out cheaper because I used to throw so much away when they were in a fussy mood.

Am tempted to eat it myself!

I give my cats a tin of food as a treat every other day and they love this. I bought the chicken and pumpkin for novelty really. The thing thats different from other cat food is that this smells and looks tasty. It looks really nice and healthy , there are no weird chunks of dubious origin, just finely chopped chicken and pumpkin. The price is incredibly low for this quality. Your cat will be eating better that most humans.

bright coloured veg

The food in this range mysteriously all smells the same! Even the beef and chicken smells of fish. It looks tasty, my cat is OK about it but my dog won't touch the dog food variety. I just wonder how carrots and peas are so luminous!! Nice packaging though.

good food, bit expensive tho

My cat love it! he licks the empty cans if you leave them around. He do not want any other wet food. But they are a bit expensive I think.

Yummy but not a complete food

My cats adore the Chicken and Pumpkin but it's very annoying that Applaws does not make it clear that their food is NOT a complete cat food. It should only be used as a supplement to a complete diet that provides all the vitamins and appropriate levels of minerals for cats.

Save your cat's teeth and buy Applause

So many cats seem to have problems with tooth decay now - mainly due to all the sugars most manufacturers put in cat food. APPLAUSE is different, IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY SUGARS and instead lots of tasty "real" ingredients. My cats and I fully recommend this brand!

My Cat's favourite

My cat loves these! She doesn't think much of Chicken and Pumpkin (she often leaves the little bits of pumpkin behind) but adores Ocean Fish, Tuna with Shrimp and Chicken with Cheese. Best of all, the food looks and smells good to humans too.
