Fine litter tray but priced far too high!

This litter tray does the job well. My two BSH kittens use it with no problem once they got used to the swing door. The cover fastens onto the base securely. It is larger than required, and my cats aren't small. One design problem: the smell can easily bypass the charcoal filter, as there is a gap right at the place where the filter is installed. My main problem however is of the price. It is just a few pieces of ok-quality plastic. 50% of the marked price would have been more reasonable. They clearly benefited from the lack of similar products on the market.

Excellent value

This is exactly what I was looking for and couldn't find anywhere, a sturdy large litter tray for my two cats at a reasonable price. The plastic liners are also much stronger and better quality than the ones you buy in the shops and fit the tray perfectly. I have no problems closing the tray clips over the bag either(somebody said they did). Highly recommended!

Overall good product

After reading all great reviews i bought this product. Much less mess than an open litter tray and no leaks at all! My cat was a bit hesitant at first because he wasnt used to flap but after using it a couple of times he was fine. The only thing i was a little let down by was the fact it doesnt mask all the smells, it still can get a bit smelly at times!

suitable for old fat ladies!

my old girl of 17 (84 our years) has problems with getting her position right and tends to make a mess with litter etc every where! This is a fab solution to all the litter probs and my other four cats have decided its nicer to pee indoors as well now! Recomend this porta loo for any cats! 10/10

BRILLIANT !!!!

If you are wondering what type of cat litter tray to go for, then dont rule this one out...It keeps all the smells in. I live in an apartment so smells were a big no no for me!!! This truly is great!!! My BSH kitten loves it, she was alittle put off by the door at first, but I just kept it off for first 2 weeks until she got used to it, now she is fine with the door on!! I have the light grey one which doesnt stand out, although its big its not that noticeable...go for it!!

Excellent Litter Box

After our 2nd cat refused to go outside we needed a solution to her smelly litter tray - and this was just what we were looking for! The tray is excellent, she took to using it straight away, no refusal problems at all. All odours stay inside! Would definatley recommend!

Brilliant - no odour whatsoever!

This litter box is fantastic. If there's one thing I didn't want in my house, it was the aroma of a smelly litter box so, although this model is a bit more expensive, I bought it after reading the previous positive reviews. I am not disappointed. I can honestly say I have not smelled even the slightest odour from the box (I use it with a wood based cat litter) and my new Siamese kitten was happy with the flap door from day one. I would recommend this litter box to anyone.

Great product!

Jess the cat was not keen to use the toilet with the door down for the first 3 months as she did not like anything that swings. She is fine with the swing door in place nowadays. No need to use air freshners as there is no smell at all, even when the door was in the open position in the past. Great product!

Would recommend gimpet deluxe to anyone

Definitely worth the money. I have 4 cats and I too was sick of clearing up litter remnants and of the lingering smell. They have quickly adapted to the flap and love to go in and do their business in private. Smell and mess is now minimal and although they are quite big boxes, it's much much better than an open litter tray (as you can imagine with 4 cats). No leaks and I would highly recommend. Don't be dubious. Buy it!
