not strong enoughOur experience seems to be the same as other reviewers. For the money, this is just not robust enough and after about 6 months the hinge has sheared off. Is there a stronger version as we feel that any repair will not last.

not strong enoughHaving had a staywell for 20 years various things started to happen mainly the maget fell off so the wind blew into the house,so decided to buy a new one.Within 4 months our 2 labs destroyed it by using it.Staywell replaced it but already in less than 6 months the outer fap has broken and we are looking for a replacement. The plastic outer rims are much too thin for the job.Remember my labs were using the 20 year old flap. The old ones plastic was double the size cost cutting comes to mind.I am now looking for an alternative

not strong enoughthis door works well but as the dog gets used to going through it they do it at greater speed hence the flap slams shut the outer door as snapped and the bolts supplied to fit the door is not an ideal system and could in some circumstances be very difficult to fit and it can be noisy at night although it can be closed to prevent access this doesn`t help the dog if it wants to relieve its self
