HmmI bought this crate last week for my jack russell pup to replace the cheap one that I already had from my local petshop ,with a fully removable mesh opening which was a nuisance. It arrived WITHOUT the wingnuts and bolts which didn't really matter to me as my husband used some screws and bolts which he already had in his toolbox. I only use my crate when I go somewhere like the gym or such and walk the dog into the shop then put her inside where she curls up and goes to sleep ( you can't put your life on hold just because your pup wants to be with you all the time ) The only problem I have with this crate is that it is too tall to fit in my car boot like the other cheap one that I had. Other than that I find this new crate to be very well made and sturdy - nice enough neutral colour and light enough for me to carry without the dog in it. The good thing about using a crate like this early on when you buy a puppy is that they get used to being inside it knowing that you are close by and will often sneak into it while you have it standing in a room and you can't find them.

GOOD SECURE BOXTHIS IS A GREAT SAFE AND SECURE BOX, THE FIXINGS ARE ALL BASED ON METAL INSREAD OF PLASTIC LIKE MOST OTHER BOXES. IT ALSO HAS PLENTY OF VENTILATION. I AM USING IT TO TRANSPORT 2 LARGE CATS TO VETS AND HOLIDAYS.

Pleased dog and comfy travelTraveling with my dog Steve was always a tricky business, now that I bought Vari kennel dog crate, I kind of enjoyed my vacation with him;) The crate is roomy enough and Steve seemed comfortable enough, the crate is very sturdy and ma be used as a dog house during your vacation (and may be at home, too). Thank you, great crate for reasonable price!
