Not very steady - needs to be weighted down

The top adjustment piece that anchors the cat tree to the ceiling doesn't "grip" very well, in fact, mine broke off because the thread for the screw didn't hold the screw in. So the tree wobbled a lot. In the end I had to weigh down the bottom platform with a very large and heavy bag. If you have large, heavy and athletic cats who throw themselves onto cat trees, perhaps consider going for one of the solid wood trees.

Five gold paws from Thunder Cat!

Ordered on Saturday, arrived Wednesday, all in one box. I had the tree set up in half an hour. Just as a precaution, I'm fitting an extra bracket onto the wall - my cat's a Maine Coon. Thunder Cat loves surveying her living room from the top platform and loves her new cardboard box! Very pleased all round and will be ordering more stuff from Zooplus.

Excellent value

While it took a few days (and several treats) to coax our sedentary indoor cat to the top of this, she now climbs it daily... getting some much-needed climbing excercise and allowing her to peer regally down at us. A fantastic value, even though neither the cat nor we are convinced by the 'soft' cut-out holes in the platforms.

great scratcher

We have had this scratcher for two years now and its still in great condition. Our three bengals love it!! the price was great aswell much better than some pet shop bought scratchers.

BEST BUY FOR CATS

This has been way the best purchase I ever made for my three cats. Since buying it around a year ago, they have never been a day without climbing it, and despite some of the parts being a little basic, it has lasted the test of time. The amount of exercise and fun my cats have gotten out of this great indoor tree is just priceless!!! They are heavy-pawed too...

Kitty Castle

My kitten loves this cat tree. She runs up and down it all day, then sleeps in the tunnel. Im not sure if the tunnel will be big enough for her when she is fully grown, but it can be taken off without causing any structural problems.

Long lasting

I have two Maine Coons weighing it at around 6 and 6.5kgs and they chase each other up and down this tree constantly. We had to apply one bracket to attach it to the wall for a bit more security (mainly from my paranoia) but we've had it for over 8 months and it is still holding out. An absolute bargin buy considering the cost of things usually!

Best present for your cat EVER

This tree is an absolute must for any lively young kitten, or active cat of any age. If you have two cats they will chase each other on it and have hours of fun, and great entertainment for you! Being more spacious than the single pole kind it offers a cosy hammock bed for the sleepy kitty after play also. And it doesn't take up as much space as one of the bigger ones. Pefect size, perfect toy, great bargain!

Standing the test of time

I bought this tree around 6 months ago and my two kittens have been treating it quite badly, literally swirling around it during playtime, and it still stands strong. It has been a great playground for them and they climb it happily like an indoor tree. I'm buying another to put in the bedroom!
