Good quality food for a cat

I have young British shorthair boy cat and he is very fussy eater . I give him Alma’s Nature wet food tins twice a day, he does have his preferences and enjoy the most : veal, chicken, tuna with beef but refuses to eat salmon, tuna with trout. Is not easy to encourage him to try different less favourite flavours . Iness

Not that happy anymore

My cat used to love this company's products. Chicken and pumkin, tuna and sweetcorn, tuna and clams were here all time favourites. Now she would not touch chicken and pumkin and barely touch tuna and sweetcorn, she only liked tuna and clams now. I have used it for two years and alternating it with other brands does not help.

Excellent quality

My 2 norewgian kittens love seafood variety not a bit waste...they love it. Worth paying the price for the satisfaction the kittens get!!

can we have some more please

i came across this food while researching wet food with no additives or other rubbish and not realising that some of the more popular brands are made by companies that test on animals. my two rescue cats absolutely love this food. and i have a clear conscious about the stuff thats in it

Good quality (Kitten flavour), but relatively expensive

I have 2 BSH kittens. Instead of feeding them poor quality food such as Whiskas and Felix which contains only 4% of meat AND animal by-products, I wanted to feed them only best-quality food. Of the premium brands, only Almo Nature and Applaws have developed a flavour specifically for kittens - both with around 50% real meat. The two brands are essentially identical (Almo Nature is less watery), so I would go for Applaws for its lower price.

good but safe?

My cat likes the chicken and pumpkin, and I usually mix or alternate with a good quality dry food. however, I'd really like to know how safe it is to serve pure meat, as I keep reading about various deficiencies and additives cats need (e.g. taurine). I notice as well that my cat gets a bit constipated and I wonder if this has to do with being served pure meat. I think it's important to be careful when using the pure meat products.

Chicken and Pumpkin- excellent

My devon rex cats are so fussy- won't eat chunks of meat, won't eat meat in jelly, one will try pates, other hates them. But otherwise they really like real meat (chicken or tuna or rabbit) and this is pretty much the only tinned food they both wolf down with the same eagerness. I have really tried pretty much everything too! Seems the pumpkin is very good for their digestion too- they can get quite bad digestive problems but this keeps them fine and happy!

Excellent quality

This is by far the best quality wet food I've come across. The texture and smell are amazing, what you see is exactly what you get - meat and/or fish, rice and cooking water, definitely no "meat derivatives" (whatever they are) there! I mainly buy Almo Nature chicken varieties, with tuna, salmon and mackerel also among my cat's favourites. The only variety he turned his nose up at was sea food mix, probably because of quite strong squid smell, but he did eat it in the end.

Pacific Tuna Rocked Her World

I was pretty impressed by the look and smell of this. My cat certainly was by the tuna and nearly inhales it. If you can stand the gentle and not so gentle hints to give your cat more and more it is worth trying. The other flavours were slightly less successful but that is due to the fact that she is a tuna fiend and other flavours may well be greedily gulped by other cats.

The BEST Quality, well worth the money

This food might be expensive, although not that much more than other best quality brands, but in my experience is well worth every penny. My kitten loves this food, she will eat more because it's so good. Organic costs obviously more than cheap foods, that are made mostly of mashed beaks and feathers. This one has 49% chicken meat! Try it out to find out!

very good product

My cats love it! The smell is like a canned food for human, do not about the flavour though! it is fresh made without hormone inside. to try.
