Verging on dangerous for kittensInitially my three month old kittens loved these - but, the toys didn't last for 24 hours, the pom-poms were destroyed and the wool strewn across my hall and living room, and the mice were torn and, it was only by good fortune that the wool from the pom-poms didn't choke my babies.

Doesn't last as longI brought these to keep my 2 year old cat occupied she ripped them apart within a few days, first the pom pom tails were pulled off and then as she scratched them so much the stuffing of the mice fell out gradually and that was the end of them, so not scratch proof as stated. Although they kept her busy they just didn't last as long.

GoodThese are good because as your cat plays with one end the other end swings around so it keeps their interest longer. Good variation on the standard mouse toy!

A good choiceOur cats do enjoy playing with these, and it is necessary to be swift with your reactions when dangling them in front of them! My only reason for not listing this as 'good' in this review is that I've found after only a couple of days, the pom-pom has begun to be pulled apart
