Tetratec ~Ex.1200
I own 5 of the above External filters, they are efficient, quiet, and very easy to use, with the special pump start, a three year old could learn to use this, and easy to clean. My tanks always look brilliant. I have had many of my friends say "how do you keep your tanks looking so good." I open the door of the cupboard below, and low and behold " a Tetratec 1200" fabulous.

have ex 1200 with my 100l turtle tank. very silent keeps water crystal clear an odourless which is very difficult with turtles for very long.

Tetratec EX 700
This unit is simply superb, very quiet and very rugged. It came with a 3 year guarantee and going by the quality i've no doubt it will last many years beyond that. It was easy to set-up and I could notice a change in water clarity within a few hours. I was not able to find this unit cheaper elsewhere and Zooplus delivered the order very quickly. Well done!

Fault developed after few months
When I first got the filter it seemed like a great product. After three or four months it has developed a fault. It started to make a rattling noise. I contacted zooplus. They don't carry the spare parts such as the spindle on the motor.
I had to replace it from another site. It was back to being silent. However after a few weeks its started to make a noise again.
So far its been a hassle. If i have to send the whole unit back how will I keep the water filtered?

Great Filter
Upgraded from my internal to the EX600. Great filter especially for the price. Easy to put together and very very quiet. I have it in my bedroom and cant hear it.

EX 700 - Superb!
Originally had two Aqua flow internal filters for my turtle aquarium and I was still getting dirty water within a week and a stench after two until I purchased this beast. Absolute must buy if you want a clean, odur free tank for weeks on end. Extremely quite and very compact in terms of media compartments. I wish I saw this before I wasted money on a load of internal ones.

Brilliant filter EX700
Delivery (FREE!!!) to the UK from Germany has taken 7 days. Awesome price!!! Installation was very easy. I have mopani wood in my tank and water was like a tea (brown colouring). Within 24hours water was perfect clear free of brown colour! Incredible!

Tetratec EX700 external filter
This is my first external filter and having read the horror stories about setting an ex/filter up i was amazed.This could have been set up by a 5 yr old child.From washing of the media it took no more than 6/7 minutes.Just needed one shake of the canister to expel a small airlock and then i had to check to see if it was working ok because it was so quiet.This was also £45 cheaper than my local aquatic store and it only took 3 days from ordering to delivery.Many thanks to all at Zooplus.

Amazing Results
Bought this filter to replace my fluval 3 plus internal filter that came with the tank, set it up last night, put it on along with my other filter, after 10 mins the slightly greenish tinge from my water had been removed. Very impressed so far.

Simply Superb !!!
This is my first external filter and I cannot believe the difference, my water is absolutely crystal clear. The price was exactly half that of my LFS and that included delivery. 5 stars to Tetratec and 5 stars to Zooplus. I'll be back !

Tetratec 700 External Filter
I bought the Tetratec from Zooplus back in October 2007. It has been hassle free and is the best filter I have ever bought, particularly when it comes to the (very easy) media changes. Zooplus by far offers the best value- my local Maidenhead Aquatics are currently selling the 700 for £40 more than I paid at Zooplus incl delivery!!. Get yours NOW!!

ex 700 what a product
ive had mine up and running about 2 months now and my water is crystal clear.the only part of the filter you can hear is the trickling of water coming from the spray bar.excellent service from zooplus and the cheapest anywhere,this filter is a must for anyone on a budget A++++++++

First Impressions
I've just bought the EX700. Have just started it- primed and running in seconds, silent within a couple of minutes. Had to check it was working! Very easy to set up and the self primer is very efficient. Obviously the proof will be in the pudding so we'll see in a few months how good it is.
Also, have to say the service from here is first rate- Ordered it on a Friday, arrived on the Wednesday. I also had a technical query that was answered pretty swiftly.

Tetratec EX 600
Absolutely brilliant ordered Monday delivered midday Wednesday. Installed within 30 minutes my tank which I thought was crystal clear, now really is crystal clear after only two hours. Tetratec EX 700
I put this in a 120 litre tank and the water could only be described as "polished" like real fresh mountain spring water and ultra ultra ultra quiet (the Tetratec 300 air pump is louder and it's really quite!) I originally had a Fluval3+ internal filter which did a really great job, kept the water well filtered and nitrates to an acceptable level but this really has made the tank the penthouse thanks guys no more internal filters again.

Fantastic product, fantastic delivery!
One of the best purchases i have made, a lot cheaper than anywhere i have found online. Ordered on tuesday and recieved it on thursday. My water is crystal clear after one day. I used to have a slight fog in my tank always, but still can't get over the fact it isnt there now.

Excellent product, excellent company
Arrived fairly quickly considering it came from Germany. Installation was fairly painless, and the best part was when I turned it on... and could hardly hear it! A huge relief to be able to bin the old internal filter, that made sitting in our living room a headache-inducing experience.
Getting back from work the evening after I'd installed it, the water was noticeably clearer too. Top notch product.

Superbly engineered product. Virtually silent, it produces crystal-clear results in just a few hours from installation. Performance to spare in a 100 litre (22 Imp. gal.) aquarium. No complaints at all about this product. Easy to install and keeps the water clear. I use the EX 600 in a turtle tank which has a mixture of wood, rock and two big turtles, it is coping just fine. Good delivery in three days from order.

Tetra tec Ex600
I ordered this product on Sunday- delivered on Wednesday. Excellent service, better than I have received on many other websites.
I put the filter in that night and after 2 full days it has cleared up my aquarium water beyond belief. I have a large piece of bogwood in the tank which gives off a brown colouring (tannin) into the water. The filter picks this out no problem. Cristal clear water and very little noise. Could you ask for any more especially at such a great price!!
